Look, this is new and improved software - yes, it changes some things and the look, and no, Bakalor won't go in and restore links to the notes and the radio show because he is just not doing that anymore - hopefully we'll get the Calendar and the Who's Online buttons back, as that's in preferences somewhere in the control panel, but if you see things in e-mail (a function I don't even know about on this site) or where your PMs, are, take a deep breath and just get used to the new deal, because there's no going back.  It happens whenever ANY site upgrades their software - Facebook just became the "new" Facebook - people hate it, violently, but they're not changing it back and everyone is just getting used to it in its new form.

Bruce, I think you should trust yourself more and go in and change this stuff yourself.  It's not rocket science--I have message boards and forums (fora?) on my site and most of the Admin stuff is easy-peasy, most of it is simply checking off option boxes.

BTW, the annoying "LOADING" error is still popping up when you try to quote when you have the Quick Reply box up.  That would be my first request to get fixed.

There are many old pictures in that file. There is a picture of OzDerek. There is an avatar for LC (former poster) and Jason and Jay and many other former posters. As Jose said, it's an HHW scrapbook.

LOL, I figured that.  What about the smiley faces when replying to a quote?  I can type in a few; :) ;) (:  I don't know how to be sad, laugh or cry.

Also restoring links is very easy.

Hmm, not to contradict you fine sir out in the great Northwest, but I don't get the loading error. I did get it early on in the day but I don't get it now. I quoted you with the Quick Reply box open. I don't know if I changed a setting (I've been poking around in the Profile off and on all day) but as I said, I don't get the LOADING error.

Hmm... I get the "LOADING" message... But it's not an "error".  ???

The new email box motivated me to do some deleting.  I would be much happier with the set up if I could change the order & show the emails with the last ones received at the top of the page.

Anyone notice a way to reverse the order they appear?

OK, now I want to see if this still works:

Deb, Fred (FJL) is probably off celebrating the Jewish Holidays or he's off doing taxes.

Edi, have a wonderful trip!  If you are only in for Friday & Saturday I don't think I will be able to catch up with you, if you are still in on Sunbday afternoon I could posssibly get in, but I think from your previous post that you said youwould be leaving for home by then   :-\

But the tristate area will seema little brighter just from knowing that you're within it!!

Also, the link at the second page of the notes does take you to the new forum/community address so if you read the notes when you come for the first day you can now go directly to the posting area from the second page.
