As a guest you can read the board and you can see everyone's avatar and you can browse their profiles. You can't communicate with them, meaning you can't post and you can't send private/instant messages. The little green scroll which changes from dark green (off line) to bright green (on line) is not there when you're on as a guest.

DR Cilla- ;D

Bummer you can't read the messages on email anymore and have to go into HHW to see them.

The message is in the email. right under the IMPORTANT:.... line

That is a little better.  Still is is all too busy for me & makes it more difficult to see and read.

First email sends you a message that you sent a message, then it sends you a message you have received one.

When I collected the messages my entire box of messages showed up, and all as if they are posts.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS AT ALL!

However, I believe once those messages are read - or mark them read, then you will only receive one e-mail/message at a time.

After rehearsal, I'll come home and get ready for my trip!  Tomorrow (at 7:30 in the freakin' morning), my sister, niece and I are leaving Olympia, Washington to visit our cousin John and his wife Angel in Coquille, Oregon. :D (I hope I spelled Coquille correctly.)  We're leaving tomorrow morning and won't be back until Monday evening (my friend Margo will be feeding my cat).  I don't know if I'll have any computer access, but I'll take my camera...if I can find it.

Hooray our lovely Amy/Edi is back full size.

I'm excited about your time in New York even if it's only a short time.

Now when I click on the link from my email, it set it up with a quote to reply to.

Did you check in your set-up if there's a box to check or uncheck?  There are several new options.

However, I just noticed I have an email icon, when mine is supposedly hidden, so that's a glitch--perhaps you can always see your own icon.

Well, I hate to do this, but I must be going.  I need to be downtown by 5:30 pm to work concessions for Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra w/ Bravo! Vancouver Chorale, but I'll need to leave right after the show starts and not work the intermission.  I'm going to my first rehearsal for "Loot," although it's not the first rehearsal that they've had.

I think we should have about six hundred postings today, don't you?

You were probably joking when you said it but it looks like we will have more than 600 posts today.

What, exactly, is the procedure for finding "today's column" with this new format?  Do I need to retain the old URL?

Yes, you can't get there from here anymore - and I doubt that will get fixed.  It's the usual address, www.haineshisway.com, AND the link at the end of the notes should now bring you to the new board.

So we won't be able to get to the Radio Show from here either. We will have to go from the Main Page.
