As for last night's "Heroes"....
Later that night, Leporello -- still believed by Elvira to be Don Giovanni -- is surprised by Anna, Ottavio, Zerlina and Masetto, who all denounce the supposed Don, despite Elvira's protests. I like the show, but haven't followed it that closely over its first two season, but I do have to agree that the segments with Hiro - especially last night - were clumsy and even more logically unbelievable than the more happily illogical moments of the show. I know the creators were trying to go for some slapstick, but when they totally throw out the danger element - and the peripheral vision and hearing! - of the people they were following, well... Now, maybe this was set up early on, but does it look like that every "hero" will have a brother or sister or two? When I first saw Chloe's character, I thought it was Kristen Bell dressed up as someone else.. And with the preview showing a prepped-up Skylar, well... And then we had the revelation of the twins being "created". Anyhoo... Again, I may have some holes in my Heroes knowledge, but like DR Ron P, I am hoping that these first two episodes of this season are just part of a greater exposition that will lead to some pretty mind-blowing developments. Fearing for his life, Leporello reveals his true identity and escapes. Ottavio proclaims that he will take revenge on Giovanni and asks the others to look after Anna ("Il mio tesoro"). Elvira thinks about her betrayal by Giovanni, whom she still loves in spite of everything ("Mi tradi quell'alma ingrata").
