I just returned from said Flea Market and had a very good time. I saw but did not speak to Mr. Spiritas. He was otherwise occupied but I did see many good friends and a former Dear Poster who knows another former Dear Poster. LC (many of you may not remember her) who knows Jason. They don't know each other except for a couple of quick meetings years ago but she does know who Jason is. LC was talking to a merch person who was talking about Avenue Q and I mentioned Jason and that's how the whole thing started. New York is really a small town when it comes to theatre and theatre-related people.

My niece and nephew are becoming musical theatre geeks (thanks to their funny uncle) so I bought my nephew a Lion King t-shirt from the Chicago company and a DVD highlights of Jersey Boys (his parents have OKed it) and I bought my niece Legally Blonde stationary and the CD sampler from LB and I got for both of them a CD sampler of hits from Lion King, Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins. I got myself a copy of Lovemusik for $10. It was a good trip uptown.
Oh, yes, I also got my ticket to Billy Elliot. I'm seeing it on October 14th from the last row of the Balcony ($41.50) at the Imperial Theatre. The box office isn't open yet for Shrek so I don't have a ticket yet. I'm waiting to see what kind of mailer or TDF offer might appear. I have to print out the Playbill discount for All My Sons since it's not yet appeared on TKTS. And then, later in the season there is White Christmas. I'm so busy I've exhausted myself
