DR Ben, would it be all right if we moved the Mitchell Trio to a week from Friday? I've got to be feeling better by then!

Of course! Vibes to you for betterness!

Re having breakfast to help diet - I have never liked having breakfast at least in the morning.  Even as a kid I didn't like it - it always makes me feel heavy and slowed down, so other than the odd occasion I've rarely ever eaten breakfast.

The time when I never had to worry about weight gain and could basically eat one meal a day but that meal could consist of anything at all was when I played racquet ball three times a week.  In those days (this was back in 1981ish) I weighed about 140.

I do not ever need to weigh 140 again, however.

What the hell are you talking about?

I believe they are discussing some kind of reality television show.

Were you eating Michael Phelps' breakfast:

"...Three sandwiches of fried eggs, cheese, lettuce, tomato, fried onions and mayonnaise, add one omelet, a bowl of grits, and three slices of french toast with powdered sugar, then wash down with three chocolate chip pancakes."

;)

Seriously, you probably were eating the typical "big breakfast".  Just eating something light and healthy is all you and your body needs.   -And more prepared to deal with any "land mines" you may come across during the first part of your day.  A container of yogurt.  One egg, and a piece of toast. A bowl of cereal - in the proper serving size.  It all works.

DR LAURA - it actually has very little to do with any reality, but you are correct.  8)

"Project Runway", which was being discussed in the previous post.  If it makes no sense to you, then it's not calling attention to itself and isn't a spoiler for you.

Is this the voice of experience speaking?   ;D

Somehow, I don't think that's something you've ever had, or will ever have, to worry about....yes?   :D

I know it's never been, and never will be, an issue for me.

I got eleven of those letters, but don't have the time to spend on the rest of 'em.

(That "L" with the light bulbs is not All That Jazz.  I don't know what it is.)

One of the ones I got right.   8)

Ron, you mentioned Sicilian split pea soup. I used to be quite the split pea soup fan, but have never heard of a Sicilian version. Could you 'splain, please?

I believe Kerwin Mathew's ran an antique shop in San Francisco for many years and he always had a couple of cats. He would not do interviews (someone told me it was because he was hard of hearing in later years), but otherwise was very friendly to fans. His phone number was even listed in the directory.

You need to see Donna Lynne Champlin's act for her cautionary tale on "How I Stalked Brian D'Arcy James!

Or were you counting on Noel Coward's advice "Nice young men who sell antiques do it"?

It's a packaged soup mix that I found in a local small grocery shop.  I don't recall the brand, but I'll check on it tonight and get back to you.  They have several delicious Italian soups.

James Bond fans, Rejoice!

Today's Amazon "Gold Box" item is the 007 collection -- 21 titles for just under $100, or $4.57 per disc.

These are the four boxes that were issued a couple of years ago...all remastered and splendiferous (IMO).  Of the ones I've watched since getting the set in an earlier Gold Box offering, they looked spectacular on my plasma HDTV upconverted through my HD-DVD player.

If you kicked yourself the last time this deal was offered (a markdown of 67%), now's the time to snap it up before it's gone again.

I had not even heard of most of those movies.

Thank you, S. Woody, for mentioning that 4-CD Alan Menken set "The Music Behind the Magic".   I had not heard of the set until your mention.  I found it at Amazon.com.

Back from the long jog on the new route - the last half was as hard as it's ever been - I basically thought I was going to keel over on the sidewalk.

Can you tell I'm trying to get us to Page 4?

We had our air conditioner re-installed in our bedroom window on Tuesday because the insurance company to the owner of the building insisted it was a safety hazard to have AC units without brackets so all the tenants with AC units had to have a bracket installed and then have their units put back in the windows.
