Did anyone tape last night's TCM broadcast of THE LEGEND OF LYLAH CLARE?

I didn't even know about it till this morning/

I meant to, but I was so overwhelmed by NIXON that it slipped my mind. It'll be on again soon. TCM seems to play it fairly regularly.

I got to the subway and became quite nauseous.  I'm back home feeling very queasy and i'm not stepping out today.

On the positive side before whatever knocked me down at 86th Street I found a notary public and took care of my legal issues. Oy.

Hope you feel better quickly.

Good morning!

There was a nice, soft rain falling when I woke up this morning, and I would have loved to have stayed in bed, but I had much to do today, so I got up.

High today is ONLY 77, so I'll be able to leave everything open all day long! Hooray!

Today I'll be working on the 2-disc review copy of KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN.

I was VERY pleased to see this morning reading the contents of disc 2 that there is a bonus feature on the Broadway musical version with Hal Prince, Kander & Ebb, and others participating. Can't wait to see that!

I think I forgot to mention last night that I did skim through yesterday's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Nada. And nada in the previews for today, too.

This is for DR MattH (and maybe DR RonP) and anyone else who loved last season's JOURNEYMAN.

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/37863

It's an interview with the show's creator that reveals to us all the secrets will not get to find out next season (since there is no next season).

Thanks, DR Jennifer, for this link which I would never have read otherwise. I loved the show and feel it got unfairly treated (as does the creator). I don't understand why a DVD set hasn't been mounted for release. That BOMB version of THE BIONIC WOMAN that NO ONE liked already came out on DVD months ago.

Wednesday morning greetings!  My day started with an early meeting at Panera.  It was nice to see my volunteer administrator friends again.

I'm now in the office until 5pm - hope the Sudanese refugee doesn't come in a 3rd time asking me for a grant.

Since the notes are not up, and since we therefor don't have a TOD, may I suggest the following:

This is actually something I stumbled across elsewhere on the web.  The idea is to take a list that has been published somewhere, and see how well your own experiences match up with it.

In this case, we'll be working with Entertainment Weekly's list of the best 100 films of the last 25 years.  This is not my list, it is theirs.  Don't blame me for the list's contents, blame them.

In any case, copy the list, and then make the following adjustments to it:

For every film you have seen, put the film's title in bold.  (Use the buttons for the YABBC tags, found in the "Post Reply" bar - in this case, use the "B" button).

Of those films, for every film you really liked, underline the title.  (That's the "U" button."

And, of the other films you've put in bold, for every film you genuinely didn't like, or that left you cold, cross out that title.  (That's the "S" button.)

I'll post the list on the next post.

First off, let me just say that I am so bored of these stupid and pointless lists - as if they mean something, whether from the AFI or EW.  What is the purpose of them?  So they can do a TV special?  I mean, it's just endless and ridiculous.

I cut and pasted the list into a reply, highlighted the title I wanted to bold, clicked on the bold button and it keeps bolding only the last title on the list.  Tried through Safari, then AOL.  Certainly I'm not entering those things by hand.

Good morning, once again... Again. ;)

Greetings from seat 27/28 on the 11:30 Bolt Bus down to DC!

-And I can already tell I'll be taking this again. Very clean. Very roomy. Very comfortable. And the onboard WiFi seems to be working quite well.

*And the driver just announced that they will soon be adding service to Raleigh, NC, and Richmond, VA(!!).  -And with the continually rising gas and airline costs, well it will be nice to have this option.

Loved the photos of DR BEN's family reunion.  What fun!

Travel vibes for DR JOSE, and feel better vibes for DR ELMORE.  I will get around to making that CD next week sometime, maybe that will cheer you up.

As for the Rory Calhoun info revealed yesterday, according to his ex-wife Lita Baron, the actress friend of DR MBARNUM's was in rather distinguished company....well I guess it was more like a corporation with lots of shareholders.
