So, I'd left the air conditioning on to cool off the house. I get home - seventy-eight degrees and the "air" blowing warm. I go outside to the breaker that's not supposed to trip anymore because of all the new things the A/C installed and did today, and it's tripped. I throw it. It trips. I throw it. It trips. Then all the lights in the house go off because the main breaker decides it's had enough. So, I throw that, call the Handy Man, tell him I'm stopping payment on every check I've written until this is fixed once and for all. He assures me he'll be here in the morning and he'd damn well better be. I have suspected all along that the problem wasn't ever WITH the A/C but with the breaker itself, since they'd been doing work out there and rewiring the other electrical problems. If that proves to be the case, then they're going to have to figure out why I needed all this other work done.
