TRADITION
« on: May 27, 2008, 12:11:25 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had tradition, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're off trying out for the road company of Fiddler On The MOOf.

Morning all. It's 6:30am in New York and I'm finishing breakfast. It's drizzling and supposed to get up to 80 something degrees.

I hope that work will be less crazy than it was last week.

Since Anthony is still on Long Island I will spend much of the week finishing my tweaking of the laptop. That should be fun...for me anyway.

That's all for now. Later, gaters.

Good morning, all! It's not such a good day here because Jo has taken to her bed with sore throat, chills and a fever. Last night, Jo and I watched a lot of TOP CHEF episodes and laughed through them, and I knew she was feeling down with a sore throat. She kept breaking out in hot sweats so I'm not surprised that she feels like hell today. I wish there were something that I could do.

I am about ready for a round of Brain surgery before I head off to Miami University for (hopefully) lunch with the chairwoman of the Theatre Dept and a visit with the director of Special Collections. There I'll learn what's becoming of my 43 cartons.

TOD: I cannot think of a single thing, but I've got other things on my mind. Maybe later.

Good morning, NOBODY!  How strange.  It is past 7:30 a.m. on the East coast, and not a single soul in the place.

THE MUMMY RETURNS had some good moments, but when The Rock turned into the Scorpian King, it looked like they struck his head on the end of a Dungeness crab rather than a scorpian.  Anyway, it became way to silly.

I will probably see THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR, regardless of the reviews, just because I like Brendan Fraser.

I thought Scar falling to face his death at the hands of the hyenas was a fitting end to TALION King.

That's what I said, about three hours ago.

Which puts me in good company, just in a different time zone.

Ask DR Elmore if you can borrow one from his extensive VCR collection.

Dungeness crab can be yummy.  So can Dwayne Johnson, sometimes, with the right lighting and costuming.

Oh.  It was the combination that didn't work.  Now I get it.  Nevermind.

Your lipstick needs to be a brighter shade, to match the outfit.

I also briefly considered this:
Don't even bother.  Dwayne Johnson has already done it.
