Is there a Hebrew/Yiddish word for "bitch"?

Dear BK and Dear Readers,

The last time I threw up was exactly eight years ago today. It was also the last time I had orange juice. This is not a coincidence. When was the last time you threw up?

Ta-DA Department (if this Photobucket thing works, anyway):

That is a nice looking kitchen!  Good job! :D And I love the artwork on the wall! ;D

And on that most unseemly note, I must get ready to head in for tonight's theatrical activities.  I'm meeting a friend for a dinner before the show, I best better head on down now since the show is at 7:30.

Oddly enough, she did not. She was too busy trying to find a bucket.

DR Sandra - Can you eat oranges otherwise with no ill effect?  And just what made you want to drink orange juice again today?

I can eat limited quantities of oranges. Nothing made me want to drink orange juice again. I have not wanted to drink orange juice for eight years. I never especially liked it on the way down, but it was quite unseemly on the way back up.

Isn't there some famous movie or story/novel (Capote?) with a bit about day-oldcake?

I haven't read all the replies, but I remember it as a thread from Albee's American Dream: Mommy: Grandma used to say "I love day-old cake"; toward the end, Mommy wins a baking contest with her "Uncle Henry's Day-old Cake"

The first was so nice, she said it twice, then thrice.

And now she's got it....by George, she's got it!

Hey!  I had nothing to do with that!  I was nowhere near it!  You can't prove anything!! >:(

Books have arrived and I've picked them up.  Must now begin signing and figuring out how to deal with the special something that will be included.

Cash fits nicely between the pages of a book, and would make a very good special something  ;D

Someday, when I need to convince people that I'm ready for the loony bin, I'll write up my 10-page analysis of the differences between the original and revivial Israeli casts of "My Fair Lady" (of all the shows to have TWO Israeli cast recordings...)

I think I actually have the original Israeli recording of My Fair Lady. :) I also have the Israeli Annie and one other Israeli cast recording, but I can't remember which one.

Happy Halloween for those who participate. I try to ignore it if I can.

The trick (no pun intended) is to have "it" ignore you.

speaking of cats, George how is Ebonie's paw?

To me, she seems to be totally fine, but I need to schedule a follow-up inspection.  We'll see after that. :)

One New Year's Eve, my brother was on the toilet when the new year came in.

This is one of my favorite "remember when" stories, even though it's one sentence long and doesn't have much of a denouement.

And, yes, I know this is just begging for some very witty response. Just please keep in mind that I am trying not to throw up.

(I've made it my life's goal never to throw up again.)
