I can eat limited quantities of oranges. Nothing made me want to drink orange juice again. I have not wanted to drink orange juice for eight years. I never especially liked it on the way down, but it was quite unseemly on the way back up.

One New Year's Eve, my brother was on the toilet when the new year came in.

This is one of my favorite "remember when" stories, even though it's one sentence long and doesn't have much of a denouement.
