DR Laura, thank you. I'm more upset Yogi was dehydrated & they didn't notice. Now that Craig has a car he can look for a different kennel. This was the only one in the city.

Well... I guess then as long as the audience enjoys The Brain, then they might as well express their feelings only in the theatre. Once they leave, they can keep their enjoyment to themselves. At least Amazon.com doesn't sell tickets to shows so that no one would have a place to post their reviews.

Seriously, for better or for worse, there is some truth in the old adage, "Any publicity is good publicity." -And in the inernet age, it's also fast(!) publicity. And, yes, awards on any level are another form of publicity. Or at least the culmination of publicity in a sense.

If you don't care about it, then don't mention it. Bad or good.

And did anyone catch the flap over the "pull ad" for Grease last week? In quotes running along the "back" of the ad was, "You're The One That I Want", with it being credited to "Variety", "The New York Times", the AP, etc. They had simply pulled the title of the TV show from all the reviews, and then ran it as what the reviewers said about the show. Quite creative to say the least.

Ghost Whisperer (I got sucked into this...I don't know why)
Grey's Anatomy (it's set in Seattle)
Heroes (very good comic book TV show...and eye candy

Dear boy, this is haineshisway.com - the place where we can rant to our heart's content - we've all done it, and we'll all continue to do it, I'm sure. What fun would it be if we couldn't do useless rants every now and then? If there were some sort of reality to these Fringe awards then I'd say bravo. But, there isn't, at least from what's been told to me. Like 'em or hate 'em, there is a certain logic to the Tony Awards or any "real" awards presentation. Not necessarily good logic, but at least logic. But, if it makes people happy, grand, say I.

And that's what makes horse racing.
