Jose - opening vibes to you as well

Thanks, DR FJL.  Although, tomorrow will be my opening day, my first show at the keyboard, so...

-Although, I think I may just watch the show tonight from the audience, instead of from the pit.  Especially since it will be my last chance to see from the audience.

TOD - a couple (just a couple?) of local community theatre productions - Oklahoma! and Auntie Mame.  The best part about the latter was being in the cast (not in the part I really wanted...) with DR Elmore.

DR Jose - how I wish I could see All About Us!  How does this 2-week commitment affect the other possibilities you'd mentioned?

Actually, the run of the show - even if it extends for a week - fits in perfectly with the other potential gigs.  And as I think I mentioned before, after this weekend, I basically had nothing lined up - even my day work (auditions, etc.) dropped off.  The associate who books me at the casting agency was also surprised that after weeks of playing for them at least three to four times a week, that I'm not booked for anything right now.  Funny how things work out like that sometimes.

Ms Erin will soon be expecting me for my every-third-Saturday haircut appointment.

DR Ron Pulliam, Teddy will be simply devastated.

Devastated, I tell you.

Why DR Ron Pulliam, thank you very much for that touching & heartfelt tribute!

Or, as DR Miss Karen would say, Hooh-hah!

Does anyone here own an Auricle vacuum cleaner?  Do they really work as well as they're advertised to work?

My auricle picks up everything very well.  The only problem is, it goes immediately out the other!   :P

DR der Brucer, those are wonderful!  But are you sure it's librarian art, or library homeless patron art??   :)

They're from "How to Piss Off Your Librarian for Dummies".

DR der Brucer - The book art is interesting.  Now I know where there might be a market for the unsold items from the AAUW booksale!

I'm up, I'm up - my allergies have caused me to be puffy and groggy, not necessarily in that order, and I'm not sure these newfangled Actifed's are even working without their key ingredient.

bk, my DH has that same problem, so he started buying the eliminated ingredient, pseudoephedrine, separately. You have to go to a pharmacy and tell them that your usual meds aren't working for you and if you don't look like a meth dealier, they will let you sign for it.

Well, I think I have everything set for tonight.  I brought a suit jacket along with me to put over my pit blacks for the post-show reception/party.  Alas, since everyone has to get loaded back onto the vans back to the city, the party will not really have a chance to turn into a "par-tay".  -But I think we're planning something back in NYC for tomorrow night.  :)

I shall be bringing my camera with me, and I shall do my best to snap a couple of pics throughout the evening.  And since I shall be supping with DR singdaw, I shall do my best to snap a pic of him too.  ;)

bk - You car situation sounds a lot like mine.  When I had to have a good chunk of work done on it a few years back, I realized that that was the first time any major work had been done to the car.  -And spread over ten years, that ain't so bad.  *And since I tend to be a "hard driver", brake pads were - and are - routine maintenance for me.

In any case, maybe you should wander over to a dealership, and see if anything catches your eye.  -And your bank account.  ;)
