Speaking of...one of my crazy neighbors came by after seeing all the destruction behind my house and asked if I was going to sell. I said not right now, and she said "You should! You're sitting on a landmine".

I think she really meant "goldmine".

With the time change, Toby and Dylan have figured out that it's 5:00, their dinner time, even though it still feels like 4:00 to me.  They made the usual dinner requests at almost excatly the right time.

We're watching a movie called SORDID LIVES.  Lots of fine acting, but it looks more like a filmed play than a movie, even though it played movie theaters several years ago.. Fun to see Olivia Newton John in such an odd role.

It was a play first, wasn't it?

I may working with a tenor, Kip Wilborn, on some arrangements.  Kip is singing with Mr Ron Raines and Sal Viviano in Florida this week.

Do these "arrangements" involve an air-mattress, the fire-escape, or the stroking of one's ego?

With the time change, Toby and Dylan have figured out that it's 5:00, their dinner time, even though it still feels like 4:00 to me.  They made the usual dinner requests at almost excatly the right time.

Recently I heard the bang-bang of a dog dish. Soon Marty (the Lab) came strolling into the study and gave me a rather disgusted "Do I have to take this issue up a notch?" stare.

The bowl was promptly filled.

Dumb animals.

Despite staying up way too late last night and getting up far too early today I am having a productive day multi-tasking.

...doing laundry

...making DVDs for assorted HHWers who are fans of      Allison Hayes and Leslie Parrish

...transferring assorted VHS tapes to DVD

...and doing assorted household things

Right now am transferring two episodes of the old John Derek / Richard Jaekel TV series FRONTIER CIRCUS. Nifty show!

The episode right now concerns a iron mine being run by a family of religious fanatics who are using Chinese immigrants as slave labor, believing that pagans were born to be slaves.

My darling Carolyn Kearney is in this episode and has some wonderful scenes!

A fun movie (Anthony and Ben like it too).

How odd to see Olivia as a C & W singer. LOL
Now it's time to play your Tammy Wynette "Best of.." and go stand by your man.

The stage origins of the play are indeed evident.

Yesterday Woody spotted three deer grazing in the gulch next door.

Tonight he is serving Venison Strogonoff.

The events are not related.

Who rescued him?

der Brucer

I wasn’t there.  He was helping my friend, for the “fun” of it, feed a neighbors farm animals.  Needless to say he never returned to help.  I went a few times until one of the turkeys attacked me.

Bryan remembers the very sweet goat named Billy that lived at our other neighbor, & friend’s home.  She had to have nice pets since she had a camp & a pre-school on her property.
