François, if you need something to listen to later this evening, I'm on Showtime this week. I'll be sending out an e-mail to the general list of people later but I saw you on and wanted to let you know. I'm almost 50 minutes into the show (near the end). I don't know when it will be up on Listen Again but you can check later this evening. It's my review of The Fantasticks.

Dinner is ready so I'm outta here.

Oh, thank you, thank you!

I also have to catch up on last night performance of the BBC Concert Orchestra (Friday Night Is Music Night!

Do you know when Ann Coulter's to star on Showtime?!
(I know! Bad joke!) ;)

No, don't know BK at all.  Just knew OF him from purchasing most of his previous CD releases [from previous labels, as well].  And his occasional posts at All That Chat - one of which led me to the Oscar party here last week, which led to lurking, which led to...CRAZY ADDICTION!!!

Ah. Well, we all know about how addictive it is. We'll have to start HHW Anonymous. "Hello. My name is...and I'm totally addicted to HHW."

Others here have told me that they learned of BK that way, too. His CDs were just better than most.

DR Elmore, do you use computer programs for copying parts? If so which one?

I put myself through college as a copyist and suffered what we can to call "monk neck" many times, from staying in a cramped position for hours, transposing and copying with india ink to vellum paper.

DR edi, I use my hand.  I do clear clean copy, I double check like mad so there are few errors. and I don't need to proof my work.

Oh gosh i see i have a lot of pages to catch up on. 10 from last night, and now 9 more today! Yikes!

I will say that the parking gods were looking favorably on me today.  My mom and i went to the hospital this afternoon to visit someone.  Yesterday we had 30+ cms of snow. And the area where the hospital is located is horrible for removing snow.

They had not removed any snow from the parking spots. And the situation was quite dire. Many cars had 3+ feet of snow surrounding them. And those that were parked were all at weird angles with tons of snow around them. I don't do diagonal parking.

Anyhow we go there a lot and one of my favorite spots was empty (1 short block walk and at the corner of a street). IT did not have mounds of snow on it, just slushy. Although it wasn't quite long enough to park in.

So i took out my shovel and made the spot better. That only took like 10-15 minutes. And the spot was decent when i was done.

And when i got to the hospital i called my uncle (who was coming to the hospital later to visit). We agreed to leave when he was arriving. And we handed off the spot to him.

I felt so lucky.

What was your Lulu like? and was Lulu her real name?

I always thought she might be a drag queen.

I have written close to three pages but not quite three pages however if you add the fixes and little additions then it's three pages and has anyone noticed that I have not used one punctuation mark in this sentence

I wish I had wept copiously during the last fifteen minutes of Brokeback Mountain, but I didn't.  I wish I'd liked it more than I did.  I'll give it another chance one of these days, but I found it very ordinary.

The Birthday Girl will be here at five, so I suppose I could finish that third page - that seems to be what I'm doing these days - three pages a day, which is about twenty-one pages a week.

Amazing race, grease, desperate housewives, brothers and sisters, apprentice.  And here in canada nip/tuck and heroes.

Crazy.

I Use My Hand: The Larry Moore Story.

BK just knocked this one of out of the park.  When I read Lar's original post out loud to my mother, she immediately started laughing -- so she is definitely thinking like all of us other HHWers...

Secondly, the happiest of birthdays to our dear Adriana!!!  Hope it's a wonderful one!

And last, but definitely not least, those vibes worked -- I got a call from San Diego Musical Theatre and they want to me come back and read for Ethan again for The Full Monty!!!  The call back is on Wednesday, the 21st -- so I'll be calling for a buildup of vibes until then.  :)  Just thought I'd let all of you know - and of course I will keep you posted!  Hee-hah!!!

I don't really like camping that much, but we went quite often when i was little.

The most recent time i can remember going was when i was about 21.  A boyfriend i had was very outdoorsy. And he wanted to go with another couple.

Very ordinary? VERY ORDINARY?

Ann Coulter IS very ordinary!

I'm sure that Mr Haines, who's a sensitive Guy, would disapprove!

I hope you realize that should you get cast, you will probably find MusicGuy in the front row of every performance.

As for using my hand, it saves on batteries and I'm thrilled to bring such amusement to my loved ones.

When I was a kid we went camping all of the time...it was Ok some of the time, but I would have preferred to stay home and watch my Saturday afternoon monster movies.

As for hiking, that I have always loved it and still enjoy it.

Dear Esteemed BK --  oh yes..... you can make me pee myself with 8 simple little words.

And of course, it's even more delightful having had the great honor and fun of getting to know Larry a little out in L.A.

*Just keep in mind, they prefer that people only leave the audtion room - well, ballroom - between each group of 25 auditionees.  So, you'll be "stuck" in there for at least 45-50 minutes.  ;)

DR Cason.... of course, I'll send mega-vibes out into the stratosphere for you.  But, what will this do to our Paris vacation Boo-key ?? You know, it's not easy booking the QM II and reserving the whole top floor of the George V .......
