I have no real interest in Spring Awakening.  Cilla - you are obsessed with Curtains!!!

But not as obsessed as some girl who would go see Urinetown 200 times and The Wedding Singer 140 times - my bafflement comes from where does such a person get the MONEY to see a show that many times?  And why would they WANT to?  I mean, I saw A Chorus Line many times during its B'way run - like maybe ten.

I saw PIPPIN and A CHORUS LINE up to about twenty times each, but most of the visits were mostly through bumming off extra tickets from friends or theatre bus trips.

I can recall reading the posts on All That Chat written by kids who attended RENT at least twice a week!  Talk about obsessed!  Not to mention misguided.

I wish I had wept copiously during the last fifteen minutes of Brokeback Mountain, but I didn't.  I wish I'd liked it more than I did.  I'll give it another chance one of these days, but I found it very ordinary.

Keith & I felt had the same reaction.

Jeanne Lulu was very nice and I miss her posting.

Dakota-Congrats on the presentation!  I’m glad you weren’t sick again.  I’m very happy we haven’t had anymore snow storms.  I’m shocked we had a bit more than you did.  Today was the first day in two weeks I could drive car on our road.

Matt H.  It seems too early for BONES to end its season.

Jennifer I’m impressed you carry a shovel in your car, many a time I have thought about it & wished I had carried through with the idea.

A wonderful birthday to the very beautiful and delightful DR Adrianna Patti!!! Perhaps you and BK and I can have lunch/dinner/breakfast when I visit in April.

When in April? I have to make a short trip there in April. I don't know the details yet, though.

See, Francois - I'm not the only one, re Brokeback.  I didn't hate it, mind you, I  just didn't find it anything other than ordinary and it never involved me emotionally.

I have to make sure that no one else drives with me -- and I think that may happen. Other people get in my way when I want to sneak away for pancakes with BK.

Let's see, what else do we need to tell him?
How about the secret HHW handshake?

I love camping, though I haven't been out on a trip for about five years.  What I really liked is the deep woods portaging I did a few times with friends, spending over half a day just to get in to a site and then back out again.  When you are out that far, it's just amazing how quiet it is.  And just as amazing is how a group of rowdy people will eventually become respectful of the quiet surroundings and begin to go about the day like monks on a silent sabbatical.

DRLaura-When in April?  We are going to L.A. mid April.  If we can’t take Sherlock with us, and so far we can’t, our trip will be short.  Just enough time to visit my brother, Keith’s mother & go to our 40th reunion activities.

I have to be there April 13 at noon. I can maybe sneak out after the worship, maybe around 8 p.m. Then I'll have a meeting all day Saturday, April 14. Then leave on Sunday morning.

If I don't have anyone else in the car with me, then I can leave Sunday morning when I want to.

I will be in Santa Ana, wherever that is. Orange County, I hear.

And it looks like I may have to make a one-day trip sometime. I don't know when. But I will probably fly.

Skip and I had a lovely four-course dinner with DR Cillaliz and Dear friends Julie and Milla.   Cilla and Milla went off to see shows, and we're watching a design show with Julie.
