Like I said, it's a very loud game, but a lot of fun. I always play on the girls team, of course.

The girls in my class are outnumbered four to ten, but they are LOUD.

eeek...I happen to think the top row seats in the balcony were wonderful for Hairspray (only 30 dollars). It allowed my row of friends plenty of dancing and singing aloud room. I must say the LA Audience was not pleased with our unruly behavior, yet it was encouraged in NY where we saw it twice and the cast thanked us personally for our energy afterwards.

And did any other DR happen to read Frank Bruni's review of the steakhouse/restaurant of the Penthouse Club in today's New York Times? He actually liked the steaks!

I do recall the rather large difference in price between the orchestra and upper balcony seats. -And at least by sitting in the balcony, you're able to look at that wonderful ceiling. -Which, apparently, is not allowed to be photographed.

I did! We went to Chipotle, which is a Mexican fast food chain that we had never tried. It was surprisingly good---the meat is organically grown on family farms, no chemicals or antibiotics. And a strong margarita!

When the Vixter was turned 6 we had a birthday party for her, during which we set up her PlayHut popup playhouse and the Vixter and about 20 of her dearest and nearest little friends all crammed themselves in and began jumping up and down shouting "No boys allowed in here! No boys allowed in here!"

I suspect she would be a natural at "Hit the Wall and Yell at the Boys"

Any Wednesday is bad - while I've been enduring it, I've been paging through the play - which is very cute and funny. The film spends twenty minutes setting up the plot - in the play, the audience understands the plot by the middle of page two.
