DRs, my Dad has pneumonia, and they fear the cancer has progressed to his lungs.  I just spoke to him, he's weak and he will have a "procedure" tomorrow to drain his lungs (oy!).  I think he could use all the vibes you can send toward Ohio.

Thanks.

I had a very nice lunch today.

I started with a bowl of vegetable soup in a chicken and tomato base.

I then had a pasta special with chicken medallions, peas, onions, and a tomato-based garlic sauce.

I now have a pecan mini-tart sitting in front of me, courtesy of a co-worker from a different floor.

Dear Esteemed, prolific, pulchritudinous, and published BK --

   I Have Returned.............. Yea!!

As you know, I was not being a prodigal son, or a sonigal prod, but rather had some computer challenges.  I am happy to report that the nimble and pixie-like Mr. M. Bakalor diagnosed it, resolved it, and sent me the solution, all withing about 45 minutes!

I sent him such a glowing thank you note, that he probably thinks i was trying to pick him up.  ::)

So, HUZZAH for Mr Bakalor.

And a very Happy Birthday to the venerable Mr. Pogue on his natal day.

I totally agree.......Coconut cream pie must have real whipped cream on the top.  Not merengue, not "whipped topping," not cotton, not chintz!

No one has figured out colonize at The Colony?  Or has no one read the notes.  Surely one of our film buffs can figure it out, what with the offer of a sparkling prize and all.

An ethical question:  While I feel great otherwise, my cough is lingering.   But I have a ticket to see the Kristin Chenoweth concert at the Met tomorrow night and really want to see it.  But I'm sure that my cough may annoy other patrons.  Do I go and enjoy the concert, or would etiquette require that I not go in order to spare  the people around me the annoyance of hearing a semi-persistent cough, or at the very least, a consistent onslaught of cough drops during the performance?

Guess I'll head down now for the cleaning chore of the day. Then, I'm thinking I may put in an episode of BONES from the DVD set since I missed it this week, and it won't be back next week either.

Oh, for fans of THE CLOSER, I read on-line that TNT has sealed a deal with Kyra Sedgwick to up her series commitment to the show through season 7, so looks like we're in for many more wonderful years with her wonderful character and this super show!

I just read HERE that Art Buchwald has died.

He lived about 7 months longer than anticipated when he stop his treatments last summer. He lived his remaining partying with friends. What a way to go.

And re: TAR for DR TCB.

I'm not sure if anybody answered your question (if lance bass' boyfriend was in TAR allstars).  His former boyfriend was Reichen from Chip and Reichen (winners). And no they are not one of the teams involved in TAR allstars.  There is only one winner (joyce and uchenna). Although there is also one team that was dating during the show but broke up (jill and john vito). Hope that helps.

Thanks, Jennifer.  That is too bad.  I might have actually watched if Reichen was on the show.  He may be an ass, but he sure is a pretty one.

It's funny but this guy does nothing for me at all.  I thought he was cute before i saw him on survivor. But i really did not like his personality at all and was very happy when he got voted off.

He has a personality?
