Well, you've read the notes, the notes moved inexorably from beginning to end, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently trying to figure out what inexorably means.

I get a little nervous when things are suddenly slow, website-wise.  It's taking a little too long between postings.

Topic of the Day:  nothing.  I don't think I've ever (seriously) made a New Year's Resolution. ::)

Has there ever been a whole page of just one person's postings?

I'm beginning to fear there will be another server outage for whatever work they're doing - just veering from being okay to slow as molasses.

Well, I shall now toddle off to the bedroom environment and I'm praying that when I log on in the morning that we won't have had any problems.

I just refreshed the page a couple of minutes ago and it practically froze and I had to close my browser, but when I modified my last post...it took maybe five seconds, at the most.

Is it just me or is the HHW clock off again?  According to www.time.gov, it's approximately 01:30:30am Pacific Time at the time I posted this, but the posted time that's shown is 02:33:15am.

I'm not and really have never been into the resolution "thing".

Good morning, fellow Dear Readers.

I made the resolution to write letters monthly to all the family and to send birthday cards to each of them. I did very well. But the response I got was that they  said they felt bad every time they got a letter or card, because they never sent any letters or cards. Except for my MIL. She sent lots of letters back.

An unexpected thing was that I never heard back from my elderly aunt, but she listed me in her will because she heard regularly from me.

Good morning, all!  The East Coast morning contingent seems to be E&T today.  I slept late, and I am the first.

I haven't organized my day yet; my first priority is a bank deposit, and my second is a trip to the post office to pick up a package that couldn't be delivered since there was no one to sign for it.

After that, I've got a few telephonic calls as well as some Toyland writing to reorganize.

The Macbeths called while I was out yesterday.  I thought before I called them back I would see in the psot today delivers a Christmas card or package from them.  If not, I'll hold off on the call because I want to say nothing to initiate another family contretemps.

TOD:  I resolved at 39 to not be fat at 40.  I failed.  New Year's resolutions? Fuckem.
