Well I, like my beauty, never fade. But if you wish, or fish, I'll say adieu.  'Bye Guys.

Some love a pastry dish
Some love a wistful wish
But I love my toilet fish
That's just the way I am
Yes, ma'am.

Well, I'll stay up for five more minutes and then I shall toddle off to the bedroom environment.

Everyone be sure you go to the toilet before you go to bed.  But don't pee on the love-fish.

Well, you HAD to go and spoil it!
I was happy in my toilet
And I really thought that I had got it made.
But contrary to my wishes
I live now in fear of fishes
I'm afraid...I'm VERY afraid!

(with apologies to my fishing husband)

Good morning!  Another B&N day, and I'm waiting for the coffee to kick in.

I have nothing to say, but to express my wishes for DRAnn's continued progress, tell DRsTCB and MattH that their photos made me smile, and to add another word of welcome to our new DRs who have so totally jumped into the puddle and made great splashes.

TOD:  Falling in Love With Love, perhaps my favorite Rodgers & Hart song
I've Never Said I Loved You, perhp[as my favorite Jerry Herman ballad
You Have Made Me Love, from CYRANO
Yesterday I Loved You, from ONCE UPN A MATTRESS
I Wish I Were in Love Again, from BABES IN ARMS
Who Do You Love, I Hope?, from ANNIE GET YOUR GUN
What Makes Me Love Him? from THE APPLE TREE
         When I Fall in Love
Love Is like a Buttterfly, we gotta have a Dolly song!
When Love Goes Wrong, Nothing Goes Right
Ain't There Anyone Here for Love?

         At the Codfish Ball
The only other songs with fish in their lyrics that I can think of at this point are Gilbert and Sullivan - "He's Going to Marry Yum-Yum" (there's lots of good fish in the sea") and "When a Wooer Goes a Wooing" (food for fishes only fitted") - and "On the Road to Mandalay."

Two more love songs I forgot:
April Love (Rebecca Luker's "Faithful Heart" put me on a Pat Boone kick)
I Loved You Once In Silence

I am up and there is a dire weather forecast. We are supposed to go to a friend's for dinner around 4:30 which is when it's supposed to start in force (the snow is actually supposed to start around noon but the blizzard is supposed to kick in about 4 hours later). I shall call before we leave to see if our evening is still on. For a boy from Minnesota, a little snow never stopped me before but now I'm partnered with a boy from Long Island and his dislike of cold weather and snow is legendary (at least to me) so I must factor that into the equation. I will go out now and purchase a few perishables to ensure we are fully stocked in the larder in case the weatherman is right and we have a storm to equal the Blizzard of 1996. TTFN

A storm is looming here, too. My goals for the morning include cleaning the work environment and baking a cheesecake.

See what happens when one comes late to the party? You get bumped to page three at 9 in the morning!

Happy Birthday,  DR Elan!

DR JANE:Unfortunately I’ve never heard of Wild Bamboo towel but it sounds good.  I use organic cotton towels and really like them. These are very soft and absorbent, and also last long .  Wondering if you found their (Ikeuchi Towel.Co) site… they have a English site which has not much information but will help you decide, I think.

DR Hisaka,

The cheesecake (Part I - the cream cheese, eggs, sugar) is now baking in the oven. Then comes Part II (sour cream and more sugar). It's a nice non-fattening dessert.

The most difficult part of this recipe is the waiting. The cake has to chill for quite a few hours.

Love, Look Away
Love Is A Many Splendored Thing
I'll Never Fall In Love Again

I do not have a favorite with the word fish in it unless you can count A Dream is a Fish Your Heart Makes.
