It's raining here so I didn't go out.

I am doing some more rewrites.

And just where is Sandra and the person known as her mother?

And really, where is Noel, who seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

I'm afraid Noël doesn't care being "annoyed" here anymore!

Come on Noël! Send us some Joy soon!

COUSCOUS gives me the creeps.  But if anyone wants to send me a sample of well-prepared COUSCOUS, I'm willing to be open-minded about it.

My goodness, time is just moving in slow-motion, like a gazelle who's just stuffed itself eating couscous.

Did I miss something with Noel?  It doesn't seem like him to disappear - there have been many disagreements AND agreements - it happens.

Oh, I know what I can do to kill time (and believe me, I'd LIKE to kill time for moving so slowly) - I'll do the Bunny Hop for ten minutes and then I shall walk over to the dinner party.

DR PANNI = que esta un Hairdresset?

Yes, I agree DR RLP....I think Savoie should have gotten a second place, and I also agree about Miss Goebel's tearful outbursts....he certainly didn't show any signs of it a couple of minutes later when he was shown while waiting for Miss Weir's marks.  Oh well.....Evan surprised me ending up in third.....but the scoring will change soon.

Tragic and horrifying "bumper" about pairs skating....yikes!

There are no gazelles in North Africa, so they don't stuff themself with that stuff, since they can't afford to import it! ;)

But, I've once known a gazelle named Semolina!

AND gazelle couscous is quite tasty!.... they say! ;D

Oh dear, well I voted for ICE STATION ZEBRA....I know it wasn't the BEST movie in the world....or even on the list.

I just like it...in spite of all the flaws noted here, and they are legion.

Now I'm out-of-breath from bunny hopping all around the house.

But in a mere five minutes I shall mosey over to the dinner party.  I'm hoping that Dee Dee has made her famous appetizer - which is some kind of melted cheesy thing with onions on English Muffins.  It's quite yummilicious and if she has made them I'm afraid I shall just have to eat them all up without regard to others who may be in attendance and has anyone noticed that this has turned into one of those run-on sentences that just goes on and on with no punctuation in sight so please someone throw me a period or a colon or if you can't afford the colon send me a semi-colon or a comma or.  Whew.  Well, that sentence just took a minute, so in a mere two minutes I shall be on my way.

Oh, well, he's too busy reading the four one-line posts since he asked, so my answer will have to wait until my returning.  Keep the home fries burning until my returning.  I'm SO hungry.

We have a roaring fire in the fireplace.  We have gone nowhere the entire day.  Betsy spent the day reading.  I watched (or at least tried to--I gave up at the hour mark) the most horrid movie I've seen in a long time, John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars.  It has been, even with the horrid movie, a sublime day.  The weather outside is frightful.

Whew!  What a long, self-indulgent rant.  But where else can I go, but to my HHW family, to pour out the “woe is me” saga of my life?
Well earned vibes to TCB

Ooh, and a Toninho Horta CD is playing.  For those of you who have mentioned various Brasilian artists, if you haven't checked out Toninho, you really should.  Absolutely superb guitar and vocals, a mix of Jobim and Metheny.

TCB I hope things went well with you tonight and you are feeling better.

Thanks Jennifer, now I want peanut butter M & M’s. >:( ;D

Safe driving to MBarnum, JMK and to my son Bryan who hasn’t mentioned the ice.

JMK you are right about how couscous is cooked makes all the difference-Betsy's sounds very good.

Panni I’m glad you are pleased with your new hairdresser.

I have been missing the ice skating.   :(

This afternoon we went to a new framing store and were very pleased.  In two weeks we shall find out if we are still happy-I bet we will be.

Afterwards we went out to dinner, the first time in a long while.  It was very nice.

Now I think we will watch a DVD.  Goodnight.
