They don't say "senile" anymore, do they?  Seems like any mental problems the elderly have nowadays are described through clinical medical terms.  Well when I get old I plan on going just plain old senile, dammit!

Now, who are you people again?

If anybody ever has any drain problems try this product:

I believe they are sold at hsn.com (home shopping network).

I have bought his products before (professor amos) and they are environmentally safe and very good!

Good morning!

Cool morning (cooler than yesterday by quite a bit) and what appears to be a lovely day ahead. I'll be spending most of it inside, though while lunch is cooking, I may sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air.

DR Cillaliz what did you think of DANCING WITH THE STARS?

I'm not sure who i love yet. But i thought brooke burke from Rock Star INXS was great (and i like david hough). I love rocco and karina. And julianne and little cody.

I thought cloris leachman was hilarious. And i thought toni braxton was really good.

I tend to like people though based on the celeb dancers!

I thought lacey did pretty good (with lance bass). I'll bet she has a lot of fans of her own (she was on So You Think You Can Dance as a contestant).

DR elmore - With the U.N. in session today and George Bush in town (addressing the General Assembly), sounds like a good day to avoid the busses.  ;)

For drains, the baking soda / vinegar treatment, followed after a short wait by some boiling water, works pretty well, too.

For those who might be interested in CBS' THE MENTALIST but have conflicts with other shows, CBS is rebroadcasting the season premiere on Friday night in the GHOST WHISPERER slot (8 p.m.) Just a heads up on that.

Those who might have missed or want to see the HEROES premiere again, NBC is rebroadcasting its premiere on Saturday night at 8 p.m.

As for the Topic of the Day...

In addition to those already listed...

The one book that comes to my mind is Barbara Isenberg's "Making It Big: The Diary of a Broadway Musical".

As for movies:  "The Dresser"

As for plays: Richard Nelson's "Two Shakespearean Actors"

Favorite movies about "the theatre"?

Having spent a fair share of time on stage during my younger (high school & college) years, I really enjoy movies in which something goes wrong on stage and the actors have to improvise...sometimes very badly.

The movie version of ENTER LAUGHING may have other problems, but the scenes in which Reni Santoni continually screws-up during rehearsal and performance are hysterical.  It's LOL time whenever I see these scenes.

Tme to head down to 68th Street. All I need are my empty meds vials and a pad of yellow paper. Oh, a pencil, too.

How could I forget FOLLIES on my list of plays?

And I forgot Zola's great novel NANA, based on Meilhac's anecdotes about the backstage whoredom of Offenbach's operas-bouffes company and its star Hortense Schneider.

I wonder if anyone names their sons "Horace" or "Herbert" when no family connection is involved?
