So, where are we now, DR Jose?

Baltimore. Right on time, just one more hour to go.

DR MBarnum - sympathies to your friend on the loss of his father.

The church behavior sounds a lot like the behavior of the Methodist church where Richard and I were married (and his parents and grandparents and where Richard and Rob were baptized).  When we stopped attending, NO ONE inquired as to why.  Now we're Anglicans.

So wouldn't you have to create a new enterprise in order to create a job?

Correct - expansion counts.

My question for ASK BK day....

Most Paramount Pictures have the credit:

Process Photography by Farciot Edouart

Does this mean that he went out and photographed all of the background plates used in process photography....or did he photograph all of the scenes in a movie that used the back projection process even though another DP did the rest of the movie?

I don't notice the credit regularly on any other studio's product.

Exactly right - he would go photograph on location and that photography would be used for the background plates, which he would supervise.  He was really good at it, too.

Back from the long jog on the new route, which I'm quite enjoying.  Not quite as easy as yesterday's (easy being relative), but I still got through it okay.

DRLaura took me to the doctor today, and my cast was removed!!! Hooray!  It will be a month until I am supposed to put full weight on my ankle and not use the walker (but maybe still the boot), but this feels like such progress.   DRLaura only ran me into the curb twice and one or two walls, so there's another area of progress!!!! :P ;D

A bath-- a real bath where I can get my entire body wet is next on the agenda.  OH BOY!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :D :D :D

CONTINUED HEALING VIBES!

DR MBarumn, that is a beautiful quilt under handsome Cole.  All the photos are great, & it is especially nice to see DD Bosco looking so content.  The ones of Griffin sitting on Chloe are a riot.

I’m sorry about your friend’s father.  It is surprising, also something to remember.  Sometimes people need a call to know a person could use support.

Currently, Accuweather.com shows that it is sunny in Phoenix. I guess I can't see the sun with all the CLOUDS in the way.

DR MattH - Have read or heard anything about another DVD release of "Mary Poppins"? In Blu-Ray? Just wondrin'. ;)

Unless an announcement happened late this morning or this afternoon, I've heard nothing about a Blu-ray version of MARY POPPINS. I'd welcome one with open arms, of course, but I know nothing.

The cool has indeed last all day so far. The houose is open to the cool air and fresh breezes, and it's just been SO nice. I wish our summers could be like this 95% of the time.

I began my afternoon viewing by watching SAVING GRACE from Monday night. I wish Bailey Chase and Kenneth Johnson weren't on this show becuase they're the ONLY reason I continue to occasionally record an episode.

I did get to see DR Edi's extended trailer for next week's THE CLOSER, and it does look dramatic! Can't wait.

Then, I watched KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN. Still a haunting movie, one that always leaves me feeling a bit forlorn.

The new DVD certainly looks better than the ancient VHS that I have of the film, but City Lights who's releasing didn't do any clean up on the master. It's got dirt specks and debris throughout though color and sharpness are very nice.

I watched the trailer (which isn't in anamoprhic).

Then, I restarted the movie. There is no audio commentary, but there is a trivia track that plays in subtitles. I got about 35 minutes into the movie the second time before I shut it off. I'll finish it later, and then go on to disc 2.

DR Laura passed her inspection yesterday.  I'm not exactly sure what they inspected of hers, but apparently, it met their approval!
