ODE TO A TREE
« on: June 27, 2008, 12:31:54 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, you think that you shall never see a notes as lovely as a tree, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're reciting Ode To A Cud right now.

Grig was a terrific character in the movie "The Last Starfighter".

Ah.  An effort is needed, then.

Well...they can simply join the forum and show up with the online users.

No extra effort is required to see them after that.

I should have been in bed two hours ago.

I should be sawing logs and building a cabin.

Instead, I'm talking (mostly) to myself and said unseen guests.

Tom, are the fall, (well for you spring I guess) references to French Pastry mean a pending trip to Europe?

I've moved on to Abbey Road. It is amazing how wonderful these recordings still sound after nearly 40 years.  True pop classics.

I also revisited "Yellow Brick Road" today.

François is on holiday at the moment.  He still reads HHW when he is at work in Paris.

I had to get up and read the Marietta paper. There have been items of extreme interest to us on the front pages the last few days.

In the Atlanta paper yesterday, there was a story about a young couple (the guy is an editor who used to work for the Cartoon Network) who bought the last old movie theatre still operating in Atlanta. It's an art house that shows second run films. We both decided that we need to actively support their efforts. Such a noble thing should be encouraged!

I liked the title of the article: "Screen Savers".

I am having trouble understanding DD Sherlock's exact problem.  Is DR Jane saying that a foxtail spiky plant is embedded inside his paw?     :-\
