About halfway through MAD MEN's first season.  Why did they techno-ize the theme all of a sudden?  Interesting how Draper's mysteries are so slowly alluded to.

Oy, what a day I had today!

Not really, but busy enough that it took until now to catch up,

Had an X-ray on my ankle, and having to hold a hurting ankle still was uncomfortable to say the least.  But the X-ray technician was really considerate and wonderful.  Probably won't have results until Friday or Monday, but I'm hoping they find something on the X-ray, ANYTHING, and that it's not circulatory stuff.

DR Jane - yes, I've been warned by several medical professionals about avoiding cuts and scrapes.  One of the things I'm doing to keep myself occupied is counted cross-stitch and I'm being real careful with the needles and pins.

I have done some more errands and am back, but must now go eat something, otherwise I won't be able to eat until after nine o'clock.  I did go for a jog today - I lasted a whopping half-mile before I thought I would die.  However, I power-walked the rest of the mile and a half, so at least I did something for two miles.  I guess laying off jogging for almost a year has its price ($1.36).

DR Elmore - I'm glad you got your check.  I got one today, too - reimbursement of my travel expenses from my trip to Cleveland at the beginning of the month.

Perhaps that English luggage company could devise for you a pair of Power assisted running shoes - KIMMEL KEDS!
