Jane, what a C-U-T-E puppy picture, even if "doctored!"   :)

;D  Only the hat was "doctored" not the cute face.

The imdb and aspect ratios is a joke - never believe what you read there.  The Ultra Panavision 70 ratio was and is 2:76 - not many theaters could show it, but some did when these films were originally released.  As I said in the notes, the ones that couldn't go quite that wide, settled at 2:54ish.  Normal 70mm is 2:20, but Ultra Panavision 70 wasn't normal 70mm.  With most 70mm, the image on the negative or prints is not anamorphic - it's printed and shown the way it is, with no anamorphic squeeze as in Cinemascope or Panavision.  But Ultra Panavision 70 had a slight squeeze.

Monday morning greetings!  Today's a work day - I'm teaching the May edition of Grantseeking Basics this afternoon and training the person who will sub for me next month when I'm off for foot surgery.

You are having it on a lucky day, my nephew's birthday.  How long will you be off your feet after the surgery?

Isn't that Jose one photogenic DR? I always liked the "book scene" avatar, but this is nice, too. That said, somehow, it doesn't seem right to see Jose without a smile!

MattH - obviously film has greater resolution but you know, as I do, some of these buffoons on these various forums think otherwise.

For Jane's next Book Club meeting:

Meatloaf Cupcakes with Mashed Potato Frosting

;D
Those are cute.  I could do a non-meat version.

Well, I'll be off work almost 6 weeks, but hope not to be off my feet the whole time  ;)

I am shopping for a new real estate agent, as my present one simply isn't doing the job. I have not been looking forward to this. As I've said to several people, it doesn't require much imagination to see how to do a better job.

Sorry DR Jeanne.  Best of luck finding a wonderful new agent & selling your home.  Have you thought about a trial listing my owner?

Not so much pain now, unless I wear the wrong shoes.  I'm really having this done now as an investment - don't want to spend the next 30 years trying to find shoes that don't hurt my foot.  My mom has done that as long as I can remember and it's no fun.

I understand that.  I have a terrible time finding shoes that don't hurt, so I mostly wear my Saucony Hurricane Grid running shoes.  There is no surgery that can help my problem.  I hope you will be cured.
