By the way, for those who are interested, the ION network is showing the Quantum Leap episode that involves "Man of La Mancha," tonight at 9:00 PM.  I've never seen it, though heard about it, so will have my DVR recording it.

My favorite episode of "Quantum Leap"!  -Although, anytime Scott Bakula's character, Sam, found himself shirtless during the course of a Leap, well, I always liked those episodes too.  ;)

Colony Records is not showing the Evening Primrose CD on their website.

However, you can purchase the DVD An Inconvenient Truth [listed on Amazon for $19.99], from Colony for a mere $39.98.

Your nighttime singing birds are probably Northern Mockingbirds. They are bachelors, singing love songs with the hope of wooing lady mockingbirds.

TOD: BK, why did LACC stop the summer cabaret series? I would think you'd be producing a series every summer.

Funding issues.

I don't think Colony is going to put EP on their website, at least that's what they said to me.

I am very curious about Mockingbirds.  What in their physiology and/or brain enables them to do what they do, when most other songbirds can only sing their one tune!

Give me that piano bar medley!  :)

Side note:  If HHW got a referral commission from Amazon.com, I'll bet it would pay for the annual costs of maintaining the site, many times over!  Just from me!!

Last night we were watching the "Great Performances" broadcast of the 1983 Broadway revival of You Can't Take it With you with Jason Robards.  How I love this play!  What a delight.

If one is feeling FETTERED, might that make one OBSTINATE?

(Just wondering...)

Good Afternoon!  (I'm going ahead and starting to adjust back to EST time.)

Breakfast has been consumed.  Plane food and snacks have been bought.  And now I just need to finish my last bit of packing.  So.. Until NYC...

Good thing we already rearranged the mini-Seattle-get-together to be next Thursday.   I won't be going to Issaquah until next week.
