I'm sure your link is intuitively obvious to everyone else, but I, for one, am slightly mystified.   ???

Wasn't the entire back seat of your car swathed in a thick, gooey coating of Bag Balm?

Actress/singer Penny Orloff opens the show with exquisite 17th-century madrigals that set the tone for the intuitive taste and high standards of this new group in its debut production.

...And then there's the Armenian restaurants that dot the neighborhood... The abuelitas at the MacArthur Park Metro station selling tamales, tortas, champurrado, arroz con leche, horchata, and agua frescas... The Filipino food counters... The Greek bakeries... And...

-Yes, it's all about the food.  :)

I believe that's what DR JMK stated.  However, your link concerns hummingbirds.  ???

Oops, I forgot to check I had done the link correctly & that it worked.  Here it is again.

Bag Balm, first thing I thought of was cows.

I corrected my original post.

Apparently including a pre-taped segment with Mario Lopez and the current cast of A Chorus Line!

Yep. I'm just wondering how "live" they're going to make it appear.

Hmm...

So...

For anyone else who might be watching "Step It Up & Dance" on Bravo, well...  Have you checked out the latest tidbit about one of the contestants over at perezhilton.com?  It's most definitely something that should NOT be viewed at work.

-And I really think I'm going to forego the rental car, since there's no real reason to have it while I'm out there.  The couple of places I know I want to visit - meaning, "eat" - are all easily accessible from the subway.  -And since my friend's place it just a 1/2 mile from the Vermont/Sunset stop on the Red Line, I'm all set!

Hiya -

Show is going well!! I'm having so much fun. I get the Russian again onThursday. Both the (bad/non) cellist AND the keyboard were absent on Sunday's matinee, so I had to be a one-man band AND run the thunder sheet!!!

Here's an excerpt from a review (CurtainUp.com):

Actress/singer Penny Orloff opens the show with exquisite 17th-century madrigals that set the tone for the intuitive taste and high standards of this new group in its debut production.

Nice review, Penny!  Sorry I missed you!

I LOVE the Public Art in the subway stations, especially the "flying/floating" bodies in that one station- who's name escapes me right now.

-When I was out there for What If, I got by without a car for the four months I was out there.  -And I was even staying in Pasadena for a good chunk of that run.  I still get the giggles when I remember how shocked(!) some people were when I told them that I walked from the Hollywood/Sunset station to the Hudson Theatre down on Santa Monica.  "You walked?!?!?  Next time, call us, and we'll come pick you up and bring you to the theatre."[/i]  It was about a mile walk, 15 minutes tops - or I could also just transfer to a bus if I didn't feel up to the walking.  -Oh, and the looks I got when I told people I took the bus - truly a stranger in a strange land.

Keith has been slowly trimming the hair on Sherlock's paw.  As more hair is removed we can see the "whatever" more clearly.  Now we are wondering if he didn't slice the pad.  It looks painful, yet he isn't limping at all.

I'm up and awaiting a call from Mr. Jason Graae who desperately needs some charts from his Strouse CD.  I don't recall seeing that box of music in years, but we're meeting at the storage place to look for it.

Maybe he can also help you find a certain CD? Not nagging.

It was about a mile walk, 15 minutes tops -

We have had some interesting conversations at hotels when asking for directions to places.  More often than not we will get driving or cab directions to places an easy walk away. ::)

DR Jeanne - Is your sore throat related to your allergies (from the post-nasal drip)?  In any case...
