I dont' know if this has been mentioned yet (I'm only caught up to page 5), but today is A. A. Milne's birthday. If he were alive today, he'd be 125 years old.
I should get dinner on the table. Nothing complicated, just pizza and a salad. The pizza is one of those pre-made flatbread crusts, to which I'll be adding sauce, pepperoni, some diced ham, cheese, and veggies from the salad bar. Salad bars are handy for this sort of thing - a lot of times I'll find customers using the bar for small amounts of veg to be used is a dish, where buying a lot of that veg wouldn't make a lot of sense.Consumer tip of the day.
On the other hand, you've effectively dissuaded any HHW DR from dropping in unexpected and unannounced hoping to crash on your fire escape for a few days!
They're made daily, and they rotate, so...I think tonight's selection consisted of:Chocolate Peanut Butter PieSweet Potato PieOreo Ice Box CakeLemon MeringueChocolate CakeApple Cobblerplus a couple of other ones.
A friend of mine brought over a pizza earlier today that was flat crust with chicken, bacon and artichokes. I had never had artichokes before but it was good.
Oh, sweet potato pie and lemon meringue...OH!
"to-do" in the sense that there was a lot of to-do going on?Or simply a "to-do" checklist of things to accomplish?I like the idea of the former (or I wouldn't have gratuitously posted, obviously). In fact, I think there ought to be more to-do among our ken.An HHW Kerfuffle, as it were!
