Lunchtime - finally!  Last night's meat loaf dinner was good (made better by DS Rob joining us), but today's meat loaf sandwich almost prompted me to eat my lunch at 10:30am!

That is all.

Singdaw, this is not our first discussion about frozen teats. There was one last fall, before you joined us. I don't recall the details, but where else on the Internet would it be???

Thank you to FJL, Jose, Ginny, and anyone else I may have missed, for the good  vibes.  However, please don't waste their power on me.  There are a lot of others here (Keith's mother, Dakota's dad, elmore vs. the macbeth's, Jane's travel, MusicGuy and MBarnum's travel, etc., etc., etc.) that need them more than I do.

I will, however, gladly accept them for Angel and Nicky.

Referring to yesterday's TOD

I started on the internet in 1993 on Prodigy and tried AOL briefly and returned to prodigy. NOt a fan of AOL.

I have been on several usenet groups over the years including ones for Celtic music, soaps, genealogy and subgroups of genealogy including German, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada.

Prodigy Classic had a variety of different forums. I often frequented the soaps, sci-fi, theatre, and genealogy boards. They also had chatrooms and I would wander there also.

Hmm... I just finished watching last night's "Idol", and now I'm watching NBC's "The Today Show's" coverage of last night's "Idol".

-Has a show ever garnered so much coverage from competing networks before?

Who shot JR?

UFOs:
I've never seen one, but I have a good friend, a former aviator, who told me he saw one once while flying. I know him to be a very honest, down-to-earth, sensible person, who isn't given to flights of fancy, so, while stunned, I cannot dismiss his report.

DR Ron Pulliam, how long do you cook your collards?  The cookbooks I've seen vary widely on this crucial point, and a genuine Southern gentleman acquaintance of mine claims you can't cook them for less than 3 hours, so I'm just curious...

I tried collards once and was not impressed... they were like mush.. Perhaps they were prepared wrong

Question - for BK or DRs Jose, Elmore, Ben, FJL...

How does one go about arranging to attend a

Staged Reading

such as this?  It runs June 20-28, and DH Richard and I will arrive in NYC on the 28th.

Even though it is after 6:30 a.m. here in Tacoma, I am not at work.  Nor have I showered nor have I dressed.  I seem to be suffering a major emotional meltdown this morning.  In addition, not one, but both of the kids are sick this morning.

I tried collards once and was not impressed...

As DR JoseSPiano has previously mentioned, a ham hock or some kind of smoked meat for seasoning definitely helps...as well as some judicious dashes of cayenne pepper.    ;)
