What does "West Side Story" is playing at the Grauman's" mean?
I was watching this one reel filler on TCM called Will Williams' in Hollywood.
It must have been filmed sometime in early 1962 because the girl was driving a red 1962 Chevrolet convertible and she was dressed and wigged to resemble Miss Marilyn Monroe.
She started at Paramount Studios, went to Hollywood & Vine near the American Airlines Building and then to Grauman's where WSS was showing. Then she drove around and saw some of the studios, including The King Bros Productions, and James Stewart's house in Beverly Hills, and then the graves of Douglas Fairbanks, Tyrone Power, and Gary Cooper. And then she went to Marineland of the Pacific and then back to Paramount.
Very interesting.
