I have been told some news and, as always, I want you to be the first to know - the Creature soundtrack will be announced by the end of next week. It will not be on Kritzerland - it's on a soundtrack label and it will be a limited edition of 1000 copies. I haven't decided and/or ascertained whether I'll sell it on Kritzerland's website, but right now I'm sort of doubting it. If I don't, you will all be the first to know where to order it from and when.I've been proofing the notes and packaging and it really looks great. I wrote all new notes covering the entire history of the film, and there are lots of never-before-revealed details included. The CD itself is jammed with stuff - the entire score as heard in the original version of the film, alternate tracks, alternate Creature vocal, demos of two of the songs, sing-along Karaoke versions of the songs, and four minutes of Broderick Crawford doing lines that never ended up in the film.
Why don't they just make it daylight savings time all the year round? You know, somehow we all got on fine with it the way it was. For decades and decades. Children were fine. Parents were fine. The world was fine. We didn't all die because it got dark at five. And I'm sorry - Halloween in the light is just plain dopey.
No one wants to guess who the reviewer was?
