There's no need to log off and on - a hit is registered (if I'm understanding it correctly) every time you refresh or visit any page on the site.

It's going to be VERY close - if we have a busy night, I think we'll just squeak through and break the only existing record we haven't been able to break.  Of course, if this had been a normal month, we definitely would have.  If everyone WUSSBURGERS by nine as they have the last two nights, then there's no way.

DR Jose ~ Were your ears burning?  Case and I were were laughing about (make that with) you, the hee-hahs, and Woody's Woody talk today.  All of you HHWers keep us tickled with all the witty, clever and wickedly funny banter.  I hear AI opening music -- bye!

I've written one bloody page only because the phone has been ringing every two minutes and e-mails have been coming in every two minutes and I can't get any sort of run going.  I can't work like that, so I'm stopping now and will try and write another two pages when things are calmer, later in the evening.

Oh, and I guess that would make the basis for a good - I hope - Ask BK Day Question...

Is there a moment - a lyric/word, harmony, melodic turn, etc. - in a song that you absolutely adore that puzzles you?

In LE MIZ there is one rhyming stanza that makes no sense to me.  All the other rhyming patterns in the show are pretty ordinary.  However, in Castle on a Cloud there are these lines:

There is a room that's full of toys,
There are a hundred boys and girls,
Nobody shouts or talks too loud,
Not in my castle on a cloud.

Why in the world did they reverse boys and girls?  It makes no sense, and every time I hear it on the CD, it takes me out of the moment.

Okay, okay, I have a dull life!

DR LAURA - what happened to the original Mrs. Goldstein?

Well, she was not actually Mrs. Goldstein, as they never married. But she was "called out of town unexpectedly."

Your step Aunt Audrey called. They are coming to town in April.

Is that right? Step aunt?  She is your grandmother's new husband's son's wife. I think.

I have been wondering that since I bought the original London cast album in 1986!  It just doesn't make sense. :-\

Thanks. She's a sweetheart, actually. A good person who did some really stupid things to feel loved.  Anyway,  now she's got a good job, her family knows all and supports here and I don't think she'll have any problems getting through this.

It was an interesting solution. Congratulations on a job well done & a happy ending.

Thank you, Miss Karen. Apparently, I was pretty close to getting there that night!

Were you terrified when it happened or did it set in later? Sometimes during a “moment” I don’t really react to my fear until it is all over.

Did it feel weird to go to a line-up?  Were you nervous and/or scared?

No, that's not Joshie. His name is Max and I don't know him. I got the picture from StuffOnMyCat.com and I thought it was funny.

StuffOnMyCat.com is a website with a collection of pictures of cats with stuff on them. I want to submit a picture of Joshie under a shoelace if I can find one.

And toe socks are very comfortable. I'm still wearing the one I put on for the picture, and my left foot is noticeably more comfortable than my right one.

I was very shocked and scared. We wasted no time getting out of there! My stomach really really hurt for a few hours afterwards. But once the police got there, I knew we were safe.

It was a photo lineup. The detective brought a paper with six photos. I picked the right one.
