I did have what my mother now uses as a substitute for popcorn (she has diverticulitis) Cheerios heated with butter and salt. It's actually not too bad
She can't have popcorn because of the kernals....I won't go into more details than that...
Has she tried the hulless pop corn?
So, who here will be watching the Super Bowl? Who here will be watching the Grease rerun? Who here will be dancing in their pantaloons?
I love eggs benedict - I had them yesterday at the Broadway Deli, where they were decidedly mediocre. Best Eggs Benedict ever was at the late great Ollie Hammond's on La Cienega, followed by the late great Nickodell's. I haven't had great Eggs Benedict in a 'coon's age.
JRand:Favorite Stooges routine was the alphabet song. B A bay, B E bee, B I Bicky By B O Bo, etc. I think they were working a car wash while singing that tune.
I began my afternoon viewing with THE NEXT BEST THING. Despite Madonna's astonishing non-performance, I still find much of the film involving. And many in the supporting cast went on to have flourishing careers of their own: Neil Patrick Harris, Mark Valley, Michael Vartan.
I have to concentrate on finding a book for May, then I will be able to read HOW TO WRITE……
I looked at the Angele Dubeau recording; it looks like excerpts from pieces I know and don't know. It doesn't look like something I'd like, but if it directs to you look into the full compositions, then it has my support.
Tune in the Super Bowl, DR Jose - no brain strain there.
