I, for one, would like visual documentation.

Well...I can't spoil the surprise, just yet! ;) But right now, I'm late for lunch and am off to buy some pantyhose! ;D

I broke down and went ot DDD also! Couldn't resist...only bought a few things...including some kids tv series called DIVER DAN.

I really hope I haven't made a terrible mistake in judgment.

Enjoy your Sheb Wooley DR JRand. (I'm a Ben Colder fan)

Eating Purple People sure is fine, from what I hear.

Sheb played the husband of one Miss Allison Hayes in the Ford Suspense Theatre show "Fate Travels East" starring Miss Linda Darnell.  8)

The rain finally stopped around 2:30 this afternoon, but what a mess. The creek two blocks over has flooded, and I heard several major roads are closed because of standing water.

I was hoping the second of my three DDD orders would arrive today, but no such luck. I'll have to make do tonight and tomorrow with what is already here. No problem.

I began this afternoon with last night's VERONICA MARS. The case for last night got resolved pretty easily and quickly, but the rapist seasonal case offered some surprising new information.

And I mistakenly left the DVR running and saw previews of next week. Looked exciting, but I didn't want ANY spoilers. Stupid me!

HOUSE had an unusual case of a teenage boy with multiple diseases. A very melancholy story that left me feeling a bit forlorn at the end (though Omar Epps' final speech was meant to give the viewer a little hope for a happier conclusion.)

LAW & ORDER; SVU featured Connie Nielsen's swan song as Elliot's squad partner Dani. She made a good partner for him, so I was sorry to see her go. MAriska Hargitay returns next week.

And I finished my afternoon completing the MURDER SHE WROTE episode which I started last night. Universal has transferred these episodes beautifully to DVD. Rock solid, beautiful transfers.

I will have 3 LBS. to watch tonight in place of the preimpted BONES. Then, I'll continue with DAY BREAK and the have three shows at 10: MEDIUM, CSI: NY, and THE NINE. I'll probably watch MEDIUM "live," and record the others.

For fans of Big Brother:

Department of State to Introduce Passport Card
Quote
To facilitate the frequent travel of those living in U.S. border communities and those traveling on commercial maritime vessels, the Department of State has committed to producing a passport card that incorporates cutting-edge technology. The technology incorporated in the proposed card was designed in coordination with DHS specifically to address the operational needs of land border-crossings. The proposed passport card would use long-range, or vicinity, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to link the card to a secure U.S. government database containing biographical data and a photograph. The card itself will not contain any personal information, and DHS will implement protections to keep the database secure.
Note: the use of RFID technology means agentts can pick you out of a crowd based on a card in your wallet!

Wonder what the new Passport requirements will mean to U.S. Canadian tourism? Just think Native Born U.S. Citizens will soon need a passport to return from a walk across the Rainbow Bridge in Niagra Falls!

And let's not talk about the jam-up going to Tijuana!

Heading down now to get a jump start on the evening's viewing. I cleaned the den this morning when I returned from the dentist, so I don't have that chore to take care of.

I'm back from lunch, but I didn't go shopping for hosiery.  Instead, I'll leave work early and go to the store that I was planning on going because it's very close to where we rehearse.  I figured why go all the way out there, come back to work, then go all the way out there again, when I can just go all the way out there once and stay? ::)

Missed NIP/TUCK last night.....from DR MATTH's description it sounds like it was a good one....will have to catch up on Sunday evening after TAR.

Didn't know the next TAR was the All Star...DR JENNIFER....I have mixed feelings about it.

Well DRRLP - I switched to ABC and saw the last five minutes of General Hospital today....lovely Laura is back in the sanitarium in a catatonic state, and Luke was saying goodbye....and they has some clips of their wedding day....  And it did make me sad.  I like the actors a LOT....I just don't like the story line....  Of course I wanted Laura to stay with Scotty....

Was it a flashback to the 1980s wedding?  With Liz?  Did they show Liz?

Two of mine arrived today (HOORAY)!

One had "Lois and Clark: Season 4" and "Oh! What A Lovely War!"

The other was full of juicy titles -- Lean's "Oliver Twist," "Great Expectations," "Passage to India"; Hitchcock's "The Lady Vanishes" (a fun, FUN movie); a movie with Daniel Craig called "The Mother", and two movies with Thomas Jane: "Stander" and "Deep Blue Sea."
