This is a good year for Wood Ducks with 20-30 arriving every morning.

"A Good Year for Wood Ducks": the title of my next...something!

Terrific picture! I have never been able to get a great shot like that using your technique, but have been able to get good enough ones to have people identify whatever new bird we've seen.

This is a good year for Wood Ducks with 20-30 arriving every morning.  They have a game they enjoy playing.  They climb out of the pond, march around to the back of the tall reeds and then all at once fly over the reeds back into the pond, some of them diving right in.

Keith put the camera to the telescope lens & too multiple photos, only this one came out.

Wow!  THey're gorgeous creatures!

I too enjoyed the fun of the recent  "Candide".  (I even coped with Patti - but just!).  I doubt I would enjoy the version on Cd though. I wouldn't buy it.

I ended the afternoon

That WAS a short afternoon.  What do you do with the time left over before evening?

Love is where you find it.

Yeah, but where is my wristwatch, that's what I want to know

The snake is harmless, or as my little French boy says, "armless".

If you get an answer to that problem, DR RLP....let me know.

Two televisions in my house are fine....MINE has the same problem on some channels only.

I THINK that two unshielded cables somewhere are against each other, but I can't locate them inside or outside the house.

And, no, my Astaire-Rogers DVDs did NOT come today either (nor did any other DVD orders which should have been here yesterday!)

Tommy had best mind his hindmost parts.

If he feels a breeze or hears some snappin' sounds, it's either me or his BVDs will have given out.
