Hello, fellow Dear Readers! I have just returned from a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas with my son, where we just happened to see the Phantom extravaganza, starring the WSMA. It was great.

(Sorry to toot my own horn, but I have had lots of practice)

A Public Service Announcement that I filmed for the Tacoma Little Theatre, back in January, has started airing on all of the Northwest cable channels.  Since most of you don't watch cable in Washington State; if you want, you can check out the 30 second spot at this website:

Of course it was great, it stars the WSMA.

AHHHH I've been training my Dragon Naturally Speaking tonight. What a pain. I'm now having a problem getting the digital voice recorder files into Dragon Naturally Speaking.,..I'm either going to have to read the manual or wait until tomorrow and ask our CSA how to do it.  That's the ticket....

Tomorrow morning I must remember to get online and buy tickets for (drum roll) The Smothers Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour!   I'm really excited they will be here and have several friends who are coming down to see them. I think it will be a blast

I was interviewed and will know in two to three weeks, via postcard and telephone call, whether I should start packing for another trip to the Big Apple. . .

My first car, now that was an AMC Hornet. Any other AMC owners here?

Yes, DR Rodzinski, my first car was a beige 1973 AMC Hornet.  A far cry from that Capri that I really wanted.

BTW, like many other DRs, I am quite pleased with what I'm driving now, my Pontiac Vibe.  It's just the right size and gets good gas mileage.

And now I am getting ready to fly to California tomorrow for meetings.  My travel companion and I agreed not to check on any luggage, so after removing all the unallowable gels and liquids, I will really be traveling light!

Congratulations to DR td on making the Millionaire finals!

Back from a sparkling evening with my book group.  Anybody want a leftover cupcake?

I was a lifeline for my friend Charlie Carson when he won a bundle on the show.

I traded in the 1963 Comet for a 1975 AMC Matador. It was gigantic!
