from Today's Note:
Quote
It’s an odd little film, but it’s short and I liked it very much – it and Good Night, and Goodbye are now my favorite films of last year (of course, I haven’t seen many others).

You'll really enjoy INVASION, DR Ron. Tension from the get-go that doesn't let up for the entire episode.

DR DakotaCelt:

Do you know how to make your letters bigger and blockier?

Select the word(s) you want larger/bolder/etc.

Click on the B (bold) on the menu bar.

Click on the button with the A and the up-and-down arrow and you'll get this:

(size=2)(/size) -- you will actualy see brackets, instead of parens, but for some reason, the command won't show up if I use brackets.

Change the 2 to a 4 or a 6.

This is a 4

This is a 6

Thisis a bolded 4

Great!!

Did he discuss his work with the Doctor Who movie?

Yes, we talked about that as well, although off the top of my head I can't remember what he said...but seems to me he did talk at length about it.

Where'd I  leave my hat?

Somehow I feel certain that DR MBarnum has interviewed or soon will interview the gentleman seated behind the young lady.

LOL! I did tell Mr. Dow about that. He was actually disappointed to hear that that had occurred as he and his mom were always very good about  setting time aside to respond to fan mail and sign autographs...although at certain points in his career he got a thousand letters a week or more...but his mom was very concientious about it all, and therefore so was he. He told me that likely the letter never got to him and probably went to the producers or someone at the studio.

TOD:

I like "The Man Who Got Away" in A STAR IS BORN, but I think Judy tops herself in her rendition in that Judy/Dean Martin/Frank Sinatra TV Special.  She's framed in a rather unflattering, close-up and silhouetted profile, but her performance is so incredibly raw and exposed that I prefer it over the movie number (which is still outstanding, in any case.)

How many times a day must you use it?

And do you have to war special socks with that?

I am noting all these lessons. For many years many of the chatboards and rooms used only emoticons and html command... I noted similariitites between this and html..

Again, Ron, thank you!!
