AARRGGHH!! I used to have this CD and now I can't find it.

I have a "Missing In Action" list on my computer at home and this is on the top of it. The original cast recording of A New Brain is another CD that I know I owned, but I haven't been able to find...yet. I really haven't searched through all of my boxes to look, so they both may be somewhere.

When I stepped outside a couple of hours ago, I realized I needed to get out Dodge - well, at least Fairfax - for a while, so I got into my car and headed on down 95. The rush hour traffic hadn't kicked in fully yet, so it was a rather nice trip down, and the glorious weather made it even nicer. It was soooo nice rolling all the windows down and feeling the air rush by, through.

So, I'm at Steve's right now, and he's about to make dinner - Rib-Eyes! And I'm just catching up on the posts and such. So...

DR WFO - I think the confusion among TIME AND AGAIN, TIME AFTER TIME and SOMEWHERE IN TIME tends to be only because of the presence of that word in the various titles. Although someone did once introduce Skip as having written a musical version of BACK TO THE FUTURE, but that's kind of unusual.

(Trivia note: An Encores presentation of CONNECTICUT YANKEE was playing upstairs at City Center at the same time that TIME AND AGAIN was playing downstairs at the very same City Center. Both shows even had the same director and choreographer. It was talked about a lot at the time, for better or worse.)

Oh... And I came across a casting notice in The Washington Post today for a new production of The Civil War - but it's no longer called that - that will be mounted this summer at historic Gettysburg.

"Hey! My Dad's got a battlefield! Let's put on a show!"

I need to have some 1903 dance orchestra parts copied for BABES IN TOYLAND Lancers and Waltzes. I'm onto a new obsession with the show! I can always ask Betty next week to do it, but since you're in the area and you got a fantastic acknowledgement in my notes, I thought perhaps. . .

According to Playbill.com, Tony Awards Adopt New Campaigning and Promotion Rules. I don't know if these changes were made because of a need or if it was just determined that they were good ideas.
