Now, it looks like I need to get downstairs and get the hallway and bedroom cleaned.

But I can just hear those Scott Joplin rags surrounding me in DTS sound as I'm typing this. Can't wait!

And, no, the Scott Joplin rags are NOT what I'm using to clean with!  ;D

I would, of course, have to list the FINEST randy movie ever made - The First Nudie Musical.

The Rewind site is live, although it may take certain servers a while to get it.  Go check it out and let me know what you think.  I'm very pleased with it.

It wasn't too bad to load.  I've ordered my copy!  My house-mate just gave me his last rent check before he moves out, so I can actually pay for it!

And what has precluded darling Rodzinski and TPunk from logging on from HOME.  No, this will NOT do, and a bitch-slapping will be coming if they do not post this very evening.

Homework prevents me from logging on at home.  Well, last night 2 margaritas prevented me from logging on at home.  ;D  I cannot answer for Rodzinski.

I shall check the REWIND site when I return home!

DR MATTH - I saw only a few minutes of the GARBO special and the silent screen test footage shot for Walter Wanger in 1949 is very interesting.  I think it was shot by William Daniels, but the slates are quick and I only saw a few of them.  She seems to be in good spirits....and I didn't see any color shots, but they may have shown them first.  Her makeup artist didn't do her any favors, but then again, these were never meant to be seen by the general public.  It was very very interesting, and I will be interested in your reaction to them.  A few years older, but very candid and relaxed.....

Actually, my original plan was to have a later dinner, anyway.  So...

;)

I was just waiting to see if anyone was planning on seeing a show that night.  Once I get the headcount and itineraries, then I will finalize the plans.  *And Joe Allen will only take reservations a week out as it is.

Jose, I'm not planning on any shows on Wednesday. Your tour and dinner sound like a lot more fun!

It loads very slowly on AOL, but on safari it takes two seconds.  Go know.

George is our first Rewind order!  So, I definitely know I have to order one copy.  Look forward to comments about the site - I think she did a great job on it.  And let us know what you think of the excerpt.

DR Jennifer - First question:  You've kept the same tape in that VCR?  For how long?  -Even tapes need to "breathe" every now and then.

Second question:  How old is your VCR?  If it's more than five years old, you'd be better off buying a new one.  Alas, it's hard to find a cheap VCR nowadays since the advent of DVD players - cheap DVD players - but you may be able to score a deal.  I've seen some DVD/VCR combos under the $100 price point lately.

I haven't kept the same tape in the VCR. But I've found that if i keep that tape in, then i have no problems. So i just stopped trying to put other tapes in that machine.  It really dislikes new tapes.

I don't know how old it is. Maybe it is about 5 yrs old, although time goes fast.

If i didn't have another vcr then i would definitely get a new one. I guess i could look into a dvd/vcr combo or just get a dvd recorder.

I had no problem with the site loading and I think it looks great.  I enjoyed the excerpt and preordered my copy!

BB6

Well tonight is a big night. Janelle has to win HOH and if she doesn't she will be gone if she doesn't win the Veto.

On the live feed, Howie and Janelle were looking at the picture board and Howie was giving her a pep talk about how she is the best in the game and is playing for all of her team and how each of them will be watching her etc.  It was really pretty sweet.

Watching the BB6 people get ready for the live show is really pretty funny. They are all so worried about how they look. They act like no one sees them any other time.  Too funny

I only got two done -- the first one needed belts and filters and such, so it took a while. Maybe I can get the third done tomorrow.

Just an FYI - for whatever reasons, in the little excerpt on the site, all the italics have been rendered non-italics.  There aren't that many in those few pages, but there are some and they're not there.  The book, of course, has all that correctly.  I approved the cover today, and I should have test books in my hand in two or three weeks, and then they tell me that my order will get turned around much quicker than before, within four to six days.

I will be doing Little India earlier that week, hopefully, so if we go through there I should have it all out of my system! LOL!

Considering my reaction to Indian cuisine, that sentence paints an interesting picture.

I'm eagerly anticipating BB6.  My fingers are crossed (but I'm betting nothing on it) that either Ivette or Maggie vote for April to leave...changing the dynamics of the game in SO many ways.  Neither has ANY advantage in getting rid of Howie.

In today's mail:  "The Sting" and "To Kill A Mockingbird" (2-CD new edition).

Ah, me!  The Weekend is upon me as I'm off tomorrow (AGAIN!).

Back from a sparkling dinner at Artie's with DRs Jason and Jose, who's to blame for everything.  Ears burned, reputations were challenged, made, and devastated.  All in all, a good time was had.

I just ordered REWIND, but Dear Friend BK, why isn't it an easy item to find on the HHW site, such as WRITER'S BLOCK?
