I'm at work and tomorrow is the last day to get all of the invoices entered into the computer to be able to pay them at the end of this month (we're cutting off early).  So, that's what I'm doing...well, supposed to be doing. ::)

Myron Kemp says "Hi!"

Who, you may ask, is Myron Kemp?  Some internet pimp who spams my e-mail address every now and again.  I just delete his e-mails, but I see his name so often I feel he's an acquaintance....somehow.

"Il Divo" (DualDisc) CD/DVD

"Lois and Clark -- The Complete First Season"

"Frasier -- The Complete Fifth Season"

I want LOIS & CLARK!  I loved that series.  K Callan, who plays Clark's mother is an old Drama Bok Shop friend, and I'm quite fond of her.

Any excuse to look at Teri Hatcher is ok in my book.

I agree with BK: the role I think of when I think of Anne Bancroft is that of Anne Sullivan.  Masterful work.

Jed, you ever see THE COOL SURFACE with Teri Hatcher and the evil silvery robot dude from T2? Terrible movie, but plenty of Teri on display, as it were.

TOD:
That WHAT'S UP DOC? sequence just killed me when I was a kid. I mean, it was the greatest thing I ever saw. That reminds me, Austin Pendleton was on TV the other day talking about ORSON'S SHADOW, some play he's directing about Orson Welles directing RHINOCEROS.

Anyway, THE HOT ROCK is one of my favorite movies with several great action sequences, my favorite of which is the robbery of the Brooklyn Museum where George Segal accidentally gets trapped inside the case of the diamond they are trying to steal.

I won't dance, don't ask me...

I'm home.  Worked very hard doing a few fixes on After the Ball, then we mastered it, and it sounds excellent.

Yes I just read that Anne Bancroft had passed away. A wonderful actress and who was wonderful in The Miracle Worker.

I have an amusing little tale involving Anne Bancroft.

I was the host of cable Academy Award Show the year of the Turning Point.

When I was announcing the nominations for the Turning Point I kept on saying "Best Actress are Shirley McLaine Anne Anne Bancroft" I must of have had six takes and could not get it right. The director was getting a little pissed so I said let me try one more time. So I said "Best Actress Anne Bancroft and Shirley McLaine."!

I wish I could have seen Anne Bancroft on stage, but I enjoyed her in all the movies I saw here in even if they were crap and not worthy of her. She had a wicked sense of humor and was a wonderful comedic actress. She will be missed.

I am in talks with a director about staging my play and he has a connection to a local theater.

No more until everything is set.
