Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Dennis James gives a talk before each of these silent films (the WCPA had done a silent movie series for the last several years) and tonight, he talked about how Louise Brooks wasn't thought of a great actress at the time.  She was much too natural and people didn't like her acting style.  Now, she's considered quite the actress and would not seem out of place in today's movies...in my opinion.

I keep seeing all these press releases saying that Edward Watts, who will play Superman at Encores!, was in Finian's Rainbow on Broadway. I was there, and No, he wasn't!

But he was in SCANDALOUS, a musical for DR MBarnum!

I'll have whatever she's having.
