Today in the mail, I received the first complete recording of Calamity Jane, starring BK's close and personal friend, Debbie (then) Shapiro (now Gravitte).

You can never have enough Debbie (then) Shapiro (now Gravitte) recordings...seriously!

Thank you, DR Jeanne! It’s been very nice. Rob surprised me by putting up the outside Christmas lights while we were away this afternoon and my AAUW friends sang to me tonight.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and go home. We had our annual holiday potluck here at work, but I have no interest in foraging through the leftovers for some dinner before I go home. Partly because I'm not that hungry yet, but mainly because I don't really like turkey...which is why I don't particularly look forward to Thanksgiving.

Faced two potlucks today. It's interesting that the food always ends up being remarkably similar: ham, turkey, potato dishes, casseroles, salads (like my potato salad) and sweets. No real vegetables, too many starches.
