I think I must just take 2 months off...

I will have to stay with John G for a week to eat

then spend a week with Laura to hike off all the weight I will have gained at John's

Next to Singdaw's for a week of music and theatre

and then to the west coast to see BK ,Jeanne,  Jane, TCB, George and Mike

actually I will need another couple of weeks  cause I'll have to stop and see JRand and Ginny  along the way as well

what an I ....chopped liver?

Aren't  you coming for the ride?

I have a question -  if you have cases  that have not yet been resolved prior to you being appointed a judge, do you refer the client out to another attorney or are you required to complete the case?

I would do my best to resolve the cases, but some of them would not be resolved.  For those cases I would refund any remaining retainer and give the client a list of referrals to find a new attorney. Court appointed cases would get a new court appointed attorney.

OK I was wondering.  I have only ever  worked in real estate law so I wasn't sure how it would work.

With the kind of work I do, it would be the immigration clients who would have to find a new lawyer.  Since those cases take years, it's not uncommon for someone to have more than one lawyer over time.  It wouldn't be a big deal it's just time consuming. And you have to handle it carefully so that people don't get too upset. Making sure clients have their files etc.

My neighbors are having a big garage sale on Saturday and have invited me to bring whatever I want to sell.  I'm looking forward to it.  I have a number of things to try to sell.  They are pros at it...sell antiques and at flea markets so they'll help me price things etc it could be a lot of fun.

I must admit to a lot of ignorance re Stravinsky - other than the two warhorses I just don't know much of his oeuvre.  I'm listening to the Symphony of Psalms right now, and then Symphony in C.  I must say, his own readings of Rite of Spring and Firebird are not my favorites.  In fact, my favorite Firebird is Ormandy although that isn't on CD.  Say what?  I thought because, like The Moldau, that the version I first heard was mono that it, too, was not on CD and yet I just found it on an import CD and purchased it.  A shame that they didn't also put out The Moldau.

BK, are there any classical recordings like these that Kritzerland could re-release?  That would be cool.  Of course, hopefully, people would want them.

There's no money in classical - although if Sony were easy to license from and reasonable, there are a handful of things I'd do.
