And now, back to the paper. It's nearing a conclusion.

Greetings from HOME!  I've been here a couple of hours - ate dinner with Richard, called my sister, and unpacked.  I'm about to watch SMASH, then crash.

Mom and I had a delightful lunch with a couple my parents met when I was about 4 years old.  On the way out to our cars afterwards, the wife said, "Ginny, I think you're prettier now than when you were young.  You're a beautiful girl."

Thanks...I think...

I can't wait to watch SPLASH tonight.  Only 3 episodes left in the season.  Something's got to happen.

Sherlock is so spoiled it is difficult to find new ways to spoil him even more.  I think we are doing a fine job of it as he is getting a bit chubby. :)

JR, you'll be happy to know the Herzog link has been getting passed around mightily up here and hilarity is ensuing.

You're very sweet, DR Jane.

Mom's friends have a son a bit older than I and a daughter a bit younger (plus a much younger son).  I'm sure to her we're still little Donny, Ginny, and Janny (and Davy).  Of course, Davy is a grandfather and the rest of us all have married kids!

Thanks for all the vibes and prayers on Linda's behalf. I know some of what she's going through from having had similar blockage in the past, but not quite this bad.

You could do that...and lock today.

There's a local radio station, KBRD, that plays songs like this all the time.  I love it.  This is from the website (which streams 24 hours a day!):

Quote
Whether you like piano rolls, pre-1920 cylinders, 78s from the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s or early 45s and mono LPs, this is your station. Over the air we transmit full bandwidth with uncompressed sound to beat even the fm stations in quality.
On the internet we maintain full spectrum by streaming in the original monaural and not wasting bandwidth. Better than CD quality.

:D
