Had a delightful time babysitting my grandniece (Taylor) and nephew (Ben) last night while their parents (my nephew John and his wife Jamie went to a evening wedding).

Took Taylor and Ben to Sonic Burger and then introduced them to seasons one and two of THE BRADY BUNCH.

We watched episode after episode last night until we all finally crashed. When I woke up this morning Taylor and her mom Jamie were watching more episodes. John and I went out on the deck and drank our morning coffee and when we returned inside we found the neighbor kids were over watching episodes.

I think THE BRADY BUNCH was a hit.

I'll shortly be having a telephonic conversation with Mr. Kevin Spirtas.

And now - Dino at the piano.

It Might As Well Be Dino Since Jose Is No Longer Here

What am I, chopped liver?

(Don't answer that).

AMEN to that, DR JMK - not about the chopped liver part, but there are other pianists on this board!

Tonight, I took the DP and my mom to dinner to celebrate the DP's birthday.  We went to a fondue place that was quite over the top.  The food was good, the conversation was stellar, and the bill was... well, it was a birthday dinner!   I don't know why this type of dining experience is expensive.  However, we'd do it again!

Other than that, it was a LONG weekend.

I don't know why this type of dining experience is expensive.

A. Most fondue lay-outs are prep-labor intensive.

B. The fondue experience encourages the diners to linger over their food and the table turn-around time is longer.

C. It's glamorous and they charge what the traffic will bear - you paid it and would go back (and so would I)
