I was surprised to read your post about the orchestra last night, DR John G. I had thought you said there was a musician's strike.
I just spoke to my friend. I was right: he's in hospital, hoping to be released today.
I was wearing masks the entire time I was around people.
Yesterday it was "The Prince is Giving a Ball".
All day.
Today it's "Impossible".
It is -- apparently -- mating season for frogs and tree frogs. There is a pine tree behind my house, and THE MOST GOSH-AWFUL noise emanates from it throughout the evening.
The frogs around the pond are also noisy, but they cannot compare to the tree frog.
I watched ONCE UPON A CRIME yesterday. I had never heard of it, but it was directed by Eugene Levy and it was a EUGENE LEVY FILM!

Just be glad you don't have a Bullfrog, and yes, we had tree frogs.
That's great for the women who live in more liberal states, but it won't be easy for everyone else who needs an abortion to go to another state to get one. That can be an incredible hardship for just about everyone...especially low income women.
The fence quote was just a B I T over what I thought, but still fine. I am getting over 100 feet of nice vinyl picket fence with one gate.
And the old wooden fence will be taken down AND all debris taken away.....so .... in the next 6-8 weeks.
Phantom sounds:
I believe I have mentioned that I am occasionally awakened in the wee hours by a doorbell ringing, and sometimes a telephone. The rings are always singular, so I lay there waiting to see if a second one will come. They don't unless it's the real thing, which only once since I have been here has happened.
This morning, I was awakened by the sound of a chainsaw...the kind a yardman might use to trim shrubbery. It was brief...maybe five seconds...and then it stopped.
My first thought was that my yardman, who has promised to stop by next week, might have had a cancellation and started this morning. But when I checked the clock, it was 7 a.m. And it did not start up again.
Whatever "this" is, I need it to stop.
Scan went well and I am hoping I DON'T hear from my doctor in the next couple of days.

There's a blood drive at the church today. I've never given blood, but I'm thinking of wandering over there and see if they can fit me in. I'm pretty terrified at the idea.
They may turn me down because of the possible covid exposure.

My question for ASK BK DAY:
Have you heard the rumor that CBS is demolishing Television City and moving its productions elsewhere?
Yes I love to use MY CHART.
I will get a notice when the test results are posted DR JANE.
Wednesday afternoon greetings! After 2 days of fun with friends, I have a not-so-fun dental appointment today to have a crown removed, cavity addressed, and prep done for a replacement crown. All in all, I'd rather be having lunch with friends.
That's so sad......why would they build a new place when they have one with all of that history.....oh well.
Progress, I guess.

Groan. Vibes it goes well and you recover quickly.
My iron was low.

Thanks, DR Jane. I survived, but it was not fun and I’m a little wiped out. Also numb.
Okay, crazier.
My iron was low.
Wasn’t there something like Vitameatavegemin to help with iron-poor blood?

I have to worry about jaw problems and lingering tooth pain after the work is done, always extra stressful for me.
Just got a two-day restriction on Facebook for the following comment in one of the supreme court leak threads, where someone was saying men shouldn't be making these decisions - I responded with: Most men, I find, are jerks. Not all, but the ones who are are easy to spot.
That's it. I of course appealed but you can't even write why they're stupidly wrong. They call that hate speech and yet I see racist, homophobic crap every five minutes - that's okay. I mean, I'm ready to disable my account, frankly. I think the world would be a much nice place without Facebook.

Often for me it’s pain where the Novocain was injected.
Back from choir rehearsal. They are doing a "cabaret" after church on an upcoming Sunday (with adults and all the kids as well) with an "OZ" theme: songs from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked. Should I start looking for a green suit?

I haven't had the heart to follow all of the rules regarding this. It seemed that some of the rules say you can't leave the state for an abortion expecting to not be prosecuted on your return. I hope I am wrong about this.

But the more I thought about it, and after talking it over with Micheal, I think it was a really good idea.
Sharry was thrilled with it, and got very excited when I told her that Mr. Druxman had written a whole series of these plays. She is now busy thinking about a fantastic idea.
She was really thrilled about the Clara Bow play, because they were in kindergarten together.

Let us know what it is...when you find out!
