WONDER OF WONDER, MIRACLE OF MIRACLES – 121%!!!

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles, our Indiegogo’s going up. Yes, you heard it here, dear readers, our Indiegogo’s going up. What I thought would be a quiet Sunday turned out to be anything but. We’d achieved 110% and I was hoping we’d go up at least one percent, which we did early on. But throughout the day and evening we miraculously jumped up a full ten percent to 121%! Everything from here on in just helps us to do more great CD releases and more great Kritzerland shows and so let’s keep going up, up, and away, to infinity and beyond. We can DO this. I did put up a huge number of new perks yesterday, after a visit to the storage place, mostly out-of-print CDs, but some fun scripts from my acting days, too. More about the storage visit later. So check out them perky perkilicious perks at the linkilicious link below. And remember, if anything is winking about you but it too pricey, all you have to do is PM me and we’ll work something out that will please you.

Yesterday turned out to be a wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles day. The alarm didn’t go off, so I didn’t get up until noon o’clock, which gave me eight hours of sleep. Once up, I answered e-mails, saw that we’d gone up a bit, and got an e-mail from a generous contributor who’d taken the second of the executive producer perks, only to realize he hadn’t seen the big boy perk – the one where you get that credit on every CD forever. He wanted that, so I knew we were going to rise up quite a bit just from that. I lowered the price by what he’d already paid, and he grabbed it, which brought us up to 119%. I’ve still got some perky perks up my sleeve (no mean feat), so we’ll see how fer we can go. Wouldn’t it be incredible to get up to 30K? Boy would that help Kritzerland have an easier time of it. I mean, we’re not so far from 25K right now, so it’s definitely not the impossible dream – it’s the quite possible dream.

I left the home environment at around one and moseyed on over to the storage place. I began in the unit that had the old Varese Sarabande stuff and pulled as much as I could from what I was able to get to. Then I went to the main unit and pulled some OOP stuff there and boxed that all up. Then I went to my personal unit hoping to find additional album cover art, but if it’s there there’s no way for me to get to it or even see it. But I did bring home a few of my TV scripts. I think at some point, I’m gonna pay a couple of people to come and get everything out of that unit and rearrange it so things can be found. I’d also like to get rid of half of what’s in there. I just don’t need a lot of it – books and magazines and crap I’m never going to look at again. So, we’ll do that and see if there are any takers for any of it – and if I find the art, I have a buyer for at least one of those album paintings. I was there for over ninety exhausting minutes.

Then I went to the mail place and picked up one huge residual for $1.62. Then I came home, ordered the tiny pizza thing from Marco’s Pizza, and then began photographing everything for the perky perks. Whilst waiting for the pizza, I put up about half the perks. Then the pizza arrived, and I ate that, and it was excellent. Then I did the rest of the perks, and all that percolating took close to two hours. Then I sat on my couch like so much fish and started to watch some movie whose title I can’t even remember, but I fell asleep and didn’t get up for an hour. So, I didn’t watch anything. And here we are.

Today, I’ll be up when I’m up, I’ll cheerlead and hope that we keep going up, up, and away to infinity and beyond, I’ll futz and finesse and lock episode two and move on to episode three and try to get that written. I’ll eat, I’ll have a Zoom with David Wechter, I’ll cheerlead, and then I’ll watch, listen, and relax.

Tomorrow and the rest of the week is more of the same – writing, cheerleading, and heading into the last days of the campaign, when we’ll begin the big push to end with a big, big finish. We can DO this.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, be up when I’m up, cheerlead and hope we keep going up, up, and away to infinity and beyond, futz and finesse, write, eat, have a Zoom, cheerlead, and then watch, listen, and relax. Today’s topic of discussion: What are your all-time favorite Baroque music pieces? Let’s have loads of lovely postings, shall we, whilst I hit the road to dreamland, thrilled that we had a wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles day and got to 121%
